This is the problem in India we donot respect our super star
In Aus Ponting is average player they are making him very big. Here in India we do not our super star and when foreigner says good about that then we think he is good.

It is not a question of him being a super star. It is the question of does he need to labour on preventing many youngsters a chance to get into the team. Others also need the experience to achieve greater things later as team India player.

The wait will be perennial if it is for 100th 100.It must be umpteenth time that he got out to incoming delivery of a pacer.Any sensible batsman if find himself getting out on same shot time & again @almost 40 will call it quits.

let him retire.i dont think he was never nearer to either lara or ponting in match winning perfomance barring 2 or 3 centuries in his 600 plus games. is that what you call greatest ever player.

Board missed a golden opportunity to allow youngsters in home series & continued with same line up that messed up things in England.laxman & Sachin have aged while Yuvraj has failed to do justice to test cricket time & again. What was the need to drop kohli Ajinkya Rahane & Jadeja to accommodate Sachin & Laxman?

Missing hundred
by Pathangi Aravindan on Nov 07, 2011 04:07 PM

Just like Sachin, Laxman& Dhoni have also missed their century. Even R Ashwin has missed his century in the first innings of his debut - he has one more chance in this test and so others like Tendulkar also has. Ha ha ha......
