Looking at the great fight back from Partiv, his solid resolence and being unaffected by the fall of wickets, I get a feel he must in the scheme of things for World Cup. Here we have a great opener who can hit the ball hard, technically solid and has a smart batting brain. The little southpaw has got power, reads the fielding well, and looking at the way he kept on hitting the Proteas all around the Centurian, Partiv must open the innings in W/Cup matches, along with Sehwag. We also have an additional wicket-keeper, meaning on field, Dhoni can get a breather by fileding in the closing, and talk to the bowlers more often. This will also give him some extra time to strategise. Tough to sneak in now, I understand, but will be a real miss for India if he is not playing, specially in Sub-Continent soil, where I think Parthiv can be a real nemesis for the faster bowlers

yes,you are absolutely correct.i was about to post exactly same comments. what a match!!!
Agreed, rohit went across, but the ball from Tsotsobe was certainly angled (and was left arm over the wicket),
ball dropped at middle and off. if rohit left the ball, it would go outside offstump. Rohit went across the angled ball and got inside edge ( making a > with the ball) ) . Even if he played straight or have his body facing the ball, he would have a better chance to hit this slow ball.
Indian players loses good players due to lack of mentors and competition.
