Sachin is clever
by venky lukka on Oct 12, 2010 09:14 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin has concentrated mostly on making runs and ofcourse records. Records are like degrees/diplomas after getting a job. After a getting the chance to play in the national team, Sachin concentrated mainly on his batting and thus the records as a result. He knows by accepting captainship he will be worn out as a batsman and has to retire earlier. He also knows when to participate and choose the tests he should play. He has had bad times when he was not fit and has to stay in UK for recovery. But after that period, he is continuing to play well when compared to other senior players esp. worn out former captains. But whatever be the reason, he is playing well now and sometimes saving the matches for the country. He is well mannered both in the ground and outside, honest, sincere, disciplined, who sustained the lbws because of bad referees. He is playing well for the country now and he should be congratulated for that......Finally is cricket a great game to encourage at the expence of so many other games the world is playing?

While he was leading the team, none of the players were playing good. Even azhar was not playing well. Then what can he do? Saching is making runs for his team, when a target is fixed on first innings. If he is making runs for his team, then, the total runs are recorded in his name. Is that be considered as selfishness? All sachin haters should realise this. I agree your point that he is well behaved, well mannered. Thats why he is considered as GOD of cricket. I feel like correcting your first senetence. Sachin has concentrated mostly on making runs, and therefore records are created.

Is Sachin not rather old fashioned to go for 'records' rather than something more modern like DVDs?

Supreme Court Decision!
by B M on Oct 12, 2010 09:02 AM  | Hide replies

The Supreme Court has allowed Sachin Tendulkar to keep all his runs for himself. i.e., all the runs that Sachin has scored till date will be deducted from India's total and the match results will be evaluated again.

Two Points to note:
1.Ricky Ponting will never win a Test Match in India as a Skipper with that stupid captaincy.
2.You can somehow tolerate criticism of Sachin from Non Indians or some who are not cricketers, but ESPN commentator S.Manjrekar said some very harsh words about Sachin some years back which did not go down well then and look now .We did not have to listen to his boring commentary during that closing stages of Mohali test but that torture will be present during WC 2011 in March, Espn people please get rid of him.

Sanjay Manjrekar is just a jealous sourpuss. Sachin has more talent in his left nut than the entire Manjrekar clan had in total.

For some reason, he also thinks he is some kind of intellectual.

Sanjay Manjrekar had no class when he was on the playing field, and by his comments he showed that he has no class off the field also.

You are right. I also want to mention one thing. Mohinder Amarnath has always been my alltime favourite cricket as he was a dedicated, hard working and often referred to as a 'man of many returns. His score was 00 00 01 in one of the test series against West Indies and he said he found a new telephone number to his wife in England when he himself referring to his those scores. Still he had many returns to cricket. However, I was shocked to watch his comments on TV about Sachin towards the end of 2006 when Sachin was not at his best. Mohinder was saying ' Sachin somehow manages in this format or that format. I had never expected this from Mohinder especially he too had similar downs in his career.Needless to say about Samjay

Hope Sachin will score a double which was denied by some croocked players a few years ago while playing agaisnt Pakistan.

Sachin

I did not undersatnd why some people criticize Sachin while he have given tremendous contribution for India. He is in team on the basis of performance not basis of mercy of any one.

Average       Test       Runs            Result
66. 52            58      5126 &nb sp;          Won
66.05        &n bsp;   67      5563          & nbsp; Drawn
37.06            45    &n bsp; 3284            Lost

&nb sp; These statistics show this he make big contribution in 125 test which India win or drawn matches for India. So keep ur mind cool not abuse unnecessarily. Always respect these type of legend

Why Pacckis Hate Sachin?
by Sangita Menon on Oct 12, 2010 08:51 AM  | Hide replies

Whenever Sachin achieves a milestone or creates another monuments, all those Sachin-haters from across the border swarm and crawl all over this forum, leaving spite-filled comments.

Someone told me, the most hated figure in Packistan is not George Bush, but Sachin Tendulkar.

I want to ask the guys from Land of Pure: What did Sachin do to you? Why do you hate him so much? Is it because he is bringing glory to India?

I disagree. I think Pakis admire Sachin tremendously.

It is the Indian crabs who spew all the hatred at Sachin. They cannot tolerate the success of a humble Indian who only wants to play for his country.
