hey he is a great first inning player.Only in the last test he was unable to win us test so in this placid track he is making hay while the sun shines till eternity he can f ool indian public.
I think Sachin's main asset is his mind. He has learnt to control his mind. He is a no-nonsense man who lets his bat do the talking instead of players like Ganguly who always let his mouth do the talking. Sachin knows his responsibility is to bat and he does that exceedingly well.

When Sachin scored 200* in ODI's, Brian Lara congratulated and never said that sachin would break his 400*.But Lara told it would be nice if sachin breaks his record. Indirectly challenging Sachin. Even Lara Batted at no.4 like sachin does. Can Sachin break Lara's record of 400*?? Its impossible.. I also remember how sachin holed out to Mcgrath in first over of Worldcup final. Sachin isn't a big match player. He is playing only because no body should break his record for a long time, fools in India think he s playing for the country. why cant sachin play T20 world cup consisting of only 4 matches??? when he can play 14 IPl matches on the trot. if he feels he s too old then tell him not to play IPL aswell..Real fighters in India according to me is Anil Kumble, Javagal srinath, N.Sidhu, V.prasad, VVS Laxman. All these guys were never in the news even after performing so well.. Sachin is no demigod. He was good only till 1999 world cup. Rediff please stop giving headings like whole india watches.. final word.. I am not against sachin. but wat i told is my view. readers bear with me.

Its a shame if india still wants sachin to play T20 Worldcup as - T20 seld admittedly is a youngster's game. I am sure if BCCI begs him to join , he will. By not joining the T20 international he is making way for his successors. That is admirable. As far as big matches .. He has the highest averages of any player in the World cup matches. Its a shame people like you manage to forget how much indian cricket owes sachin. He is a man - not God. Its up to you to consider him the best, great or better than most, but in your own interest, at the risk of being called an idiot, get your facts straight. Sachin cant always win matches for India just because he is not a God. Others have to take ownership as well. His records do silence morons like you.

Well Said, Shobhit. Sachin bashing is a favorite pastime to all these critics and it will never stop inspite of all his mammoth achievements in this beautiful game.

dear friend,
i think you are a child. That's why you are talking like this. You know nothing about cricket. i have been watching cricket for the last 26 years. i can't find a man like sachin who is 100% perfect gentleman in the ground and off ground which keep over 21 years!! Yes he is defenitely a god in criket and i like him to play cricket as long as he likes to play cricket. no one can stop him from playing cricket for india as long as he thinks to stop.

Lara is definitely an extraordinary batsman & a superb sportsman- yet the greatness of Sachin is splendid in terms of longevity and passion.
If Lara keeps some unique records and Sachin never breaks them- it is because they are really Lara's great records.
Above is not a spledid enough reason for opening your mouth and exporting the filth.

Since u talked abt Lara and WC..Did WI won WC when Lara was there...?? Does that make Lara any less important...??
Re: whats the big deal
by C M on Oct 12, 2010 07:15 AM
Why did u leave the job of making good pitches then..?? See they all are making flat pitches ..Pls join back BCCI as groundsman...LoL
Ppl critizise sachin for not playing on crunch situtions. but last yr most of his innings were so crucial , mainly due to outof form of gambir and dravid.. many times he walked with score 40-50 for 2 and changed situation with above 50 scores..
sachin is great but australia won wc 3times sl won 1 time that is sachin's disoppintment,, as he is witnessed that.. sachin plz don't give ur 200 2morrow give it in wc final to stop argues at all.. love u..
Anyone saw Sachin playing the so called nervous 90's? Anyone sense the utter contempt with which he handled Hauritz? Those two sixes on 93 and 99....man...he is batting on another planet right now. Especially the six on 99... effortless.. as though he was being tossed a dolly in the nets. He seemed so calm on reaching 100. As though nothing matters to him now. Looking at him play today, you wondered where did his body end and the cricket bat begin? Looks like the two have fused into one entity like Michael Phelps in the swimming pool. What we are watching is surreal. Just like old wine. I dont know if there are any more challenges left for him to face from any bowler. The only person who can get him out is himself now. Oh...what would I not give for a time machine to transport him back to the mid 70's and pit him against Holding, Thomson, Lilee, Garner, Marshall, Andy Roberts and Colin Croft. That would have been a clash for the ages. I have lost track of the number of times I have thanked god for having given us the opportunity to see a legend play in our lifetime.

Very true Praveen...thank god we have people like you who knows what Sachin is...it was really good seeing the australian player clapping after his hundred today. We have people who believe in criticizing the great player, irrespective of his performace. We should ignore them.

Dude you seem to be a looser who is not able to appreciate the effort of a world genius who has been hailed not only by his friends but by his opponents like Lara, Warne, Pointing, Akram and the list goes on.. go and see the stats and then confirm the contribution he has made for TEAM INDIA.. it is his mere presence on the field that shatters the confidence of the best bowling attacks in worlds which helps others in the team to play freely.. Don't be a looser in life and learn to appreciate the fact.. Critics based on facts are always welcome and good else they are baseless.

Dear Mr.Karthik,
I disagree with all you have said about Sachin. He single handedly has taken India to the number 1 ranking in tests with contributions from Sehwag & Laxman. But if India is in the 2nd spot in the ODIs it is purely due to the sheer hardwork and talent of Sachin Tendulkar. IPL Matches are played domestically. He wants to save his body for the World Cup 2011 which is sole ambition now after which most of us are sure that he would retire irrespective of India wins the World Cup 2011 or not. He is playing only against big teams like Australia, South Africa, England and Pakistan. Against smaller nations like New Zealand, WestIndies, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh etc. etc. he knows that there is no point travelling too much and he rather save his body for 2011 world cup to be held in India. And I shall equate him with GOD if not God. U go and play in his place, u wud not even achieve even 1% of what he has in the last 21 yrs. By the way seems like someone has paid you to write such bad things about SACHIN

Actually Lara is the best ever batsmen, sachin can't play attacking and long innings like lara in tests. sachin also not best under pressure example many tests 2nd inns. He is a fine batsman thats all. This is fact.

Guru, I agree you have a freedom to write but your comment is certainly uncalled for. If Sachin has scored 14000 Runs with 49 hundereds , do you think that India is not benefitted? May be he was not instrumental for many victories but he has saved many matches for India .Prakash Wakankar
