US will continue to harass and harangue India every time there is an issue where US needs India's full support and compliance as US sees it fit and not from India's foreign policy perspective. Don't kid yourself.Better be prepared for a rude awakening.

india will overcome poverty only if it associates itself with powerful nations like US, UK etc.we have 1/3 population living before rs 20 per day.for the improvement (finacially)of our poor population there is nothing bad even if we have to support US .IRAN, SAUDIS, are useless countries they have nothing other than oil .

Saudis are useless- everybody knows it. they are slaves of America. everything is occupied by americans and king is afraid to touch americans. UK - it is no longer a powerful nation. Iran - it will become a power within next 10 years. (good for India)

Nuclear deal is not going to make India any rich. It would only pay part of electric bill like any household .
India will overcome poverty only if she would first control her ever burgeoning,nightmarish, population explosion which eats up any positive growth in economy. Secondly, India must get off the war horse and spend the money earned by Indian blood,sweat and tears on its infrastructure and development of job producing industries instead of buying expensive,outdated or soon to be obsolete military equipment from foreign countries and to be cool and pragmatic in resolving any outstanding issues with Pakistan which would bring other immense collateral benefits beyond India's purview.....certainly a lot more than any nuclear deal can possibly bring in.

Mir, I fully agree with your observation on the population explosion. Only I have this to say these.
- The Nuclear Deal would pave the way for setting up of about half a dozen Reactors. If we do not set up some power plants immediately, the demand -supply condition will bring us to a situation where we have to pay considerable high rate for our power consumptions as well as the Power would only be available for limited hours for our Industries, for our house holds, our street lights. Our Coal for power is depleting and we can not have more Major Dams.
- Secondly, the population growth percentage is coming down fastly, as now no one can think of having more and more children. Even in Rural India it is not more than three children. So the situation is not that bleak now.
