Mir, I fully agree with your observation on the population explosion. Only I have this to say these.
- The Nuclear Deal would pave the way for setting up of about half a dozen Reactors. If we do not set up some power plants immediately, the demand -supply condition will bring us to a situation where we have to pay considerable high rate for our power consumptions as well as the Power would only be available for limited hours for our Industries, for our house holds, our street lights. Our Coal for power is depleting and we can not have more Major Dams.
- Secondly, the population growth percentage is coming down fastly, as now no one can think of having more and more children. Even in Rural India it is not more than three children. So the situation is not that bleak now.
