Nuclear deal is not going to make India any rich. It would only pay part of electric bill like any household .
India will overcome poverty only if she would first control her ever burgeoning,nightmarish, population explosion which eats up any positive growth in economy. Secondly, India must get off the war horse and spend the money earned by Indian blood,sweat and tears on its infrastructure and development of job producing industries instead of buying expensive,outdated or soon to be obsolete military equipment from foreign countries and to be cool and pragmatic in resolving any outstanding issues with Pakistan which would bring other immense collateral benefits beyond India's purview.....certainly a lot more than any nuclear deal can possibly bring in.
