It is time Agriculture is also treated as a business and not as a cottage industry. It has the potential to be "profitable" provided we allow the market to be free and do not "subsidize" them. The need is to organize farmers so that they can collectively produce, what they have to produce; be it food grains, pulses, etc. There is also need to "Educate" farmers on the various inputs that can be used to ensure that they have a bounty of a crop.
