there must be good coaching facilities and training centers in each state for every game possible so that we can have a good competitive spirit among the coaches and their students in getting into the national level games from which the top 10 can be selected for training and every year we can have in batches where the central team of the top 10 gets more international exposure of winning techniques and allow them to participate in international games and events so they can know how the other teams are performing and what extra skills they have and training techniques adopted by them. Interaction with fellow competitors from other countries will help them to understand better.
The babus in all the federations need to be removed and only the qualified coaches to select the students based on merit to be taken for further event and games. Conduct national level games for all sports every year.
Can't the Indian Government just bribe Michael Phelps of USA to renounce the American Citizenship and take Indian citizenship ? This way, we can at least win around 20 to 22 medals and we don't even have to spend on other athletes. If Bollywood can employ Hollywood technicians and boast to produce "world-class movies", can't Indian Government do the same?

The prize money which our Govt. gives to athelete after winning the medal, if they provide the sasme amount in their training, then we can have more of the Olymics medal in our country
If we want to see our country as a great sporting nation , the govt should take its hand out of it. All the federations should be dismantled and the sports ministry should be wound up. The delhi culture of ethics and apathy have ruined these federations. These federations suppose to be for players .. but unfortunately it is opposite today .. Politician backed crooks head these federations and they along with the ministry bureaucrats are all enjoying the money granted for the welfare of the players .. Visit any SAI hostels or facilities to see the quality . The players and athletes are treated like servants . saina ,Sindhu, indian cricket , sania mirza, paes etc who achieved excellence in sports due to not these shameful federations ,but due to the effort of few privatized coaching facilities. Most of them went abroad to get better coaching and training . If govt wants to do something , they should privatize the complete sports , fund the right coaching & training facilities like gopichand academy and leave the sports to competent players who played and understand sports , not the lazy bureaucrats who except licking the A^^ of ministers have not done anything to merit the post .

only 2-3 small medals. Jumping with joy. Compare with the medal tally of US, UK & China? Something is wrong with our boasting players/administrators, their wrong culture.
