If we want to see our country as a great sporting nation , the govt should take its hand out of it. All the federations should be dismantled and the sports ministry should be wound up. The delhi culture of ethics and apathy have ruined these federations. These federations suppose to be for players .. but unfortunately it is opposite today .. Politician backed crooks head these federations and they along with the ministry bureaucrats are all enjoying the money granted for the welfare of the players .. Visit any SAI hostels or facilities to see the quality . The players and athletes are treated like servants . saina ,Sindhu, indian cricket , sania mirza, paes etc who achieved excellence in sports due to not these shameful federations ,but due to the effort of few privatized coaching facilities. Most of them went abroad to get better coaching and training . If govt wants to do something , they should privatize the complete sports , fund the right coaching & training facilities like gopichand academy and leave the sports to competent players who played and understand sports , not the lazy bureaucrats who except licking the A^^ of ministers have not done anything to merit the post .

only 2-3 small medals. Jumping with joy. Compare with the medal tally of US, UK & China? Something is wrong with our boasting players/administrators, their wrong culture.
While commuting on Delhi roads finding 7-8 year olds performing amazing gymnastics skills is a common sight at traffic lights. This massive-Indian-talent-going-waste belongs to the Baazigar community that lives in the slum-cluster opposite Shadipur Depot of West Delhi. This colossal talent-waste has been happening for decades right under the nose of IOA and SAI who have their plush offices in the Capital city. But does anyone care?
