More successful countries reserve big material rewards only after the player has fully run his or her course in the sport. They only ensure that coaching and all other kinds of help needed for improving the players performance are granted in time till the player completes his or her competitive period.

you are absolutely correct. It is very sad that india is gifting such huge amounts to players.
it is my personal opinion. They should be rewarded and given positions in organisation but such huge amounts ??????
