It seems Mr. Salman has been getting promoted by influentials of the country or else where. Verdict by the court and soon after his selection as the B A are well linked to this affect. Mr. Gavaskar and Ganguly supporting his nomination is quite surprising. Should some one other than from sporting fraternity be chosen then why Mr. Salaman who has plenty of criminal cases against him still running in court. There is Shusmita Sen, the cleanest lady equally glamorous and well known to the world , Even Sourav himself by now well known to other fraternities like foot ball could have been the choice for the position. Its really sad that we don't have other than Film star no one better suited for the position. No great like Vijay Amritraj, Prakash Padukone, PT usha, Vishwanathan Anand , Abhinav Bindra, Dhanraj pillay or Ajit Pal singh command that much popularity !! as Mr. Salman. We only have poulars like Mr. Lalu Prasad, Mulayem Singh Yadav, Ms. Mayabati and then Sharukh , Salman and Amir, ALAs! Great India. Great are Indians.

Yes He is popular for drink & drive, Killing Poor people. Killing Black bucks by hunting. More over Not getting any punishment for all these crimes.

Idiots are those who are projecting him or agreeing to his being Brand Ambassador....its a pure insult to leading sport people of India like Milkha Singh, Abhinav Bindra,PT Usha and many more who have brought glory to the country. No doubts that he's a celebrity but does that qualify hin to be a brand ambassador for such big events.....I have 100% doubts on the same. People like Ganguly, suniel Shetty, Ashwarya Rai....they all need Salman to pormote them or their kids into movies( Ganguly has said this since he's close to Shahrukh)......But please guys have some sense.....
Indian our selector for Olympics are totally confused. They are not promoting very few Olympic gold medallists. They are thinking if celebrity goes gold medals will come. Useless selectors.
It has been stated that he will motivate youth of the country. He is facing conviction in case of rash driving for which his father had stated that he had spent R. Twenty-two chores. He is charged for poaching and under Arms Act etc. He can definitely motivate drunk driving, poaching for which he can motivate Sansar Chands and Delhi drivers known for drunken driving.
