It has been stated that he will motivate youth of the country. He is facing conviction in case of rash driving for which his father had stated that he had spent R. Twenty-two chores. He is charged for poaching and under Arms Act etc. He can definitely motivate drunk driving, poaching for which he can motivate Sansar Chands and Delhi drivers known for drunken driving.
Every citizen of India have the right to be a part of Olympic , if not as a sports person at least as a spectator or goodwill ambassador. salman is popular and can be selected for this. any person who is oposing should not forget that they became sports person because of the infrastructure and support provided by Govt. and govt spend a considerable amount of money from the tax paid by all Indians towards this. it means indirectly every tax paying Indian contributing towards the success of any sport person. lets not make everything controversial for the sake of it.

Yes He is popular for drink & drive, Killing Poor people. Killing Black bucks by hunting. More over Not getting any punishment for all these crimes.
No sense in sending Salman as the goodwill ambassador for Olympics,ignoring meritorious Olympian players available in country.Olympics doesn't entertain acting feature in competition & Salman's presence , in no way can infuse them to play best to earn medals. Salman's personality has some traits which can help Olympians ,but then he should be an additional one to some aptly qualified for the job.
It is sad very that people at responsible positions taking decisions cannot think beyond film stars. Actually our sports contingent do not need any goodwill ambassadors.They have worked very very hard to reach this position.They have the best wishes of the people of India to back them. The most appropriate thing would be to organise a get together of the olympic contingent with all past and veteran great sportsman who have brought laurels to the country,before the departure of the team.I feel that will be a great morale booster for both ans as well as for Indian sports as such. This will also be in keeping with the Indian tradition of taking blessings from the gurus or elders before any auspicious occasion.
