Who is Francis?? Useless fellow must not have even wore the boxing gloves in his life and he is accusing the Indian team protest as pre planned??? Get lost you nitwit!! No athlete will return back her medal if she isn't confident of the what she did in the ring. Have a panel review the entire match and then decide. If the decision is pro Sarita Devi then Francis should be kicked & shown the door.

Yes, Mr. David B. Francis, it is indeed regretful to see what happened at the medal ceremony today the 1st October at the Asian Games 2014. I have some points to make to you and the AIBA. Please make sure in November when you have that meeting do put up the following points too. I am a sports loving person and not an expert in any discipline, but the difference between right and wrong, as a common man I can tell. 1. The semi-final bout of Sarita Devi against the South Korean lady “looked pre-planned” by the South Korean boxer, her team and those Judges. The incident at the medal ceremony looked pre-planned to you and the AIBA whereas to us the semi final bout looked pre-planned. 2. As per your comment today, that “as the Technical Delegate, I had to request OCA to review this incident, so any boxer or athlete in other sports will not follow in her footsteps by respecting the spirit of fair-play and sportsmanship of the Olympic Movement”. The rules and regulations of the AIBA seem to just punish any indiscipline athlete. 3. It seems there are no rules for the indiscipline or erring officials/judges/referees in your AIBA. The only rules are to protect them for whatever wrong or error they do is always final and nobody can object them. 4. Well, congratulations on succeeding to encourage CORRUPTION in sports too (I thought corruption existed only in politics). 5. By protecting those indiscipline or erring judges/officials/referees, you and AIBA are encour
I do hope the entire bout is reviewed by an independant panel before judgement is made. AIBA cannot hide behind rules and regulations. This hurts the spirit of the games. If after review, the same result holds, then punishment should be meted out accordingly.
Rules are for the game & not the opposite. If AIBA has to ban somebody it is the concerned referee who faulted. He should be charged for criminal offence.
