Women face discrimination. They are treated like animals and it i
by Rajiv Kamat on Nov 28, 2014 07:23 AM

I refer to The statement "Women face discrimination. They are treated like animals and it is not right. The thinking needs to be changed. Mentality needs to be changed." And protest against the the generalisation of same.

Sania Mirza

I appreciate Sania Mirza's performance and also as brand ambassador for Telengana. As an India we should appreciate that she has been selected by United Nations. We should try to be secular and appreciate as Indian citizen.

Gorgeous Sania

I do believe her to be absolutely right. Women should be given due respect but this discrimination begins from home itself. Parents first must ensure impartiality with their children. We all must try to create a feeling of universal brotherhood in our children which ensure safety of the women. Instead creating a personal identity we should a national one.Moral level is getting down which must be restored. This can only be done through education which itself needs a broad change. It is unfortunate that our system of education is not as per our need. It is still as per the colonial need. Student read to pass the exams not to learn.

would you have been so popular if you were a man
by venu vrk on Nov 26, 2014 05:05 PM  | Hide replies

India gave recognition because she was a women tennis player. Isn't that reaping benefits because of Gender. How many men tennis players of the same genre days have got similar recognition or endorsements and money. Evenerything has a flipside, and shouldn't one stop harping about Gender inequality. With the success and recognition under belt, wouldnt a more mature statement help!

Mirza type of families are a huge security risk to India!
by Deepak Savarkar on Nov 26, 2014 05:03 PM  | Hide replies

Sania Mirza kind of girls are disgrace to our beloved country! Even a kid in India is aware of Pakistan sponsored cruel terror attacks, wars and their anti-India activities. Pakistan is our no.1 enemy country...but for India based Sania Mirza it does not matter. If an educated, modern looking Muslim girl from India is ready to go into the arms of a Pakistani that also ordinary looking uneducated Pakstani, what can we expect from millions of uneducated Muslims in India. Sania has shown loudly that she does not care about her motherland as she cares about her religion. Mirza type of families are a huge security risk to India.

Yes, She is right

Most discrimination actually stems from women themselves.
They potray themselves as objects and dont have a sense of self respect
Women are the first people to flaunt their curves and in the process cheapen themselves. THey have to be known for their value that they give and their services to society not by how they look
