Inequality
by Unmai Vilambi on Nov 26, 2014 12:41 AM  | Hide replies

It is true that gender inequality exists in India.

Before Sania, we have had P.T.Usha, Shinny Wilson, Kunjarani Devi, and now we have Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu, and Marry Kom, who have all achieved at the world level.

None of these women have faced the kind of scrutiny and disparagement that Sania has always faced.

And the reason why Sania is treated differently is, not because she is a woman, but because she is a Muslim woman, playing a more popular sport, and is attractive.

And the biggest factor that hurts the Indian male ego, is that such a popular woman did not find any of them suitable enough for her to marry.

Oh, my! It hurts the Indian men's ego so badly, they we take out inadequacies against Sania, in forms like these, like mad dogs barking at the morning sun.

So, get over it fellas. With our narrow mindedness, none of us deserve women like Sania.

Spot on mate. And the irony is, you'll most likely get a torrent of abuse, or be told that you are Pakistan's advocate or homophobic for being able to call it out like this.

I have seen her abused way before her marriage, she has a entitled attitude and comes across as arrogant, I have hated her since the feet near the indian flag episode. and if you turn it around she is given too much importance becasue she is a M, we have saina nehwal, P V Sindhu who are actually world class and are not given as much importance as her.

Get things into perspective dude....
First of all it was a camera trick, and she did not disrespect the flag.

Nehwal and Sindhu are definitely very good, but accept it, even Mirza is good. COming from India, being the only woman to have reached the level in tennis that she has is an incredible achievement. Learn to accept it mate.

Camera trick? Trick is something you are doing right now. this happened during a live telecast of a match. there is another episode during the olympics where every one has a flag in hand excpet her. and as much as i would like to agree with you, this family is only using Indianans for gain. there a quite a few razakars left in Hyderabad who still pine for some neighboring country and fought to keep Hyderabad out, you might be blind to it, not me, and those tears are crocodile tears.

Do you like to live in your own well??

Where did she insult the country?

She always says that she always feels proud to represent the country.

When your so called superstars( read men tennis players) were playing for personal points, Sania represented India in the Asian games. She al least has done the country proud, what have you and I done?

Dear friend,
Do you realize the impact such views can have on Sania or any good muslim guys who would read these communal post?
Importantly is there any proof of her doing any Anti India activity?
Also how are your posts helping India in becoming a better and more peaceful place to live in?
What if your child or wife suspects you of wrong doing when you never did anything wrong?
It can be the worst feeling. But good guys like Sania have learnt to deal with it. It's WE indians who need to change

Give me one reason why she should shift to Pakistan. If you research your ancestry you will also find that you are not a true indian, but an alien settled in India from some other place.
Now GIVE ME ONE GOOD AND VALID REASON.
