Honestly who is this person. i would have been surprised if Maria knew him.. Why should she knew her in the first place. Star of a game which is played just 8 countries in the world? Anybody here knows Daniel Caboulty.. He is the top rugby player in the world..

By the same argument, no one may know the name of the dabawallah who delivers the food that you eat in office which make you 'alive', the train driver who took you to ur destination 'safely',the names of all the IAS officer who runs the country, and son .... Great reasoning from you.
Cricket is played in limited countries .. so it doesn't mean that she do nt know about cricket, I doubt she reads newspaper or watching news regularly, even she must be not knowing by many of the sportsperson and in fact definitely she must be feeling guilty about her statement. Sachin is such a Gr88 personality he is involved in each and every international game and give his personal attendance to witness the game, one should not forget that Michael Schumacher had gifted Ferrari to Sachin Tendulkar who has won the championship for 7 times, I guess atleast Sharapova must be knowing Schumacher henceforth she will remember Sachin Tendulkar for ever and will invite him personally to witness her next game.

Wrong logic. F1 race is watched by people throughout the world. Many Russians watch F1 race but can you tell me even if 1 in 1 crore russian watches Cricket. Then how do you expect Sharapova to know this guy.
not knowing sachin is not a crime, all the more Russians don't play international cricket. Now sharapova will remember sachin for all the wrong reasons, since her facebook account is fiddled.
