Rohan, start speaking the truth on how were coaxed/ blackmailed by Mahesh on what you did and maybe you will be pardoned by AITA and also we the common Indian.
India have had several greats in tennis ... beginning with Ramanathan Krishnan and later his son Ramesh Krishnan, the Amritaraj brothers, Leander Paes ... why is that only Mahesh Bhupathi always faces problems and every thing that he is involved in has some issue or the other. Even in his personal life, he seemed to have some problems. It is a bit sad to face so many issues in life ... but so are the several millions of Indians and thousands of other sportsmen.
no support for bhupati for his olympic rhetorics BUT... bhupati had a right to ask for his choice OK he cant force it. bhupati thought it wud b worth a shot if he paired with rb, but he shud hv accepted the pair of aita or had to skip the olympics. tennis is not like ckt. players learn the art themselves with their own money (i supose) without support of aita . n they play as individuals in grand slams n other itf approved tourneys. they play well n afterwards aita selects them to represent ind in davis cup. by playing for country, they get honoured, but playing for grand slams, they earn money. still they play n get us pride. bhupati has been a phenomenal success individually (not as indian pair, rather individual pair) alongwith leander in tennis after the exit of amritraj n ramesh krishnan. he cant b termed as traitor. he deserves a good name. problem is that ind's best duo lea-hash were doomed with strained relations between them may b due to their coaches (who played the role of gr8 chappal of ind ckt team) to finish ind's dominance in tennis. its a sad day for ind tennis. thats the only thing to say.
