No doubt you were a great player for India. But presonal ego shouldnt be bigger than serving the country when it required his service. Really good to see AITA taking stern action indirectly against both Bhupati and Bopanna. Bopanna was still a youngster, how can he dictate an parent body. We can compare this with England Cricket Board decision avoiding Keven Peterson for his indisciplinary action. Great mover AITA..now atleast younger generation gets a chance to prove themselves.
Bhupati should be kicked out for ever from Indian Tennis team along with Bopanna. This should be the prize of his superb game and politics in London olympic.

Correct, Sportsperson like Bhupati and Bapanna should be treated like this only. No one is greater than the country.

agreed..she must not be allowed to represent india. let her suk half dikk of pakichutiya..
It is only happen in India the selectors, governing body..etc(which is dominated and managed by politicians, businessmen and their goons) play more games(dirty) than the players and that is why India is seen in last places everywhere. Genuine players are never heard or given opportunities.
As if when they younger and paired well they could get a Gold in Olympics. After the Pair of Paes and Bhupathi broke up for whatever reason, Bhupathi chose to play with Boppana another INDIAN player as a doubles partner. Maybe he thought of pairing with him at Olympics and so they played together, where would you count those intentions of nurturing a younger Indian. Sorry guys as I see it there is no ego, It is the AITA who fumbled big time. And they have ended up ridiculing a champ. He will be seen by many as a villain as per the comments below... SAD
