Sania and Saurav have two things in common. One the name starts with S for both. The second is the inability to accept the fact that their playing days are over.

She is a role model

People here who are writing negative about Sania who have never worked hard and only live in their own dream world. They have never even thought of going on national stage, leave the world.
Do any of these know any Indian girl tennis player other than Sania ? She has done all the hard work all her life that few days back she even got the singles ranking around 30. This is a very very big achievement. Injuries and form has put that ranking down in singles but still she is in best 10 in double which is by no means a small achievement. She deserves all the credit.
Stop criticizing her and promote your family and friends to do some good work in life.

thanks Padamsi, otherwise I was expecting only negative comments on my post. What really shocks me that how people forget the achievements and start criticizing these rare flag bearers of country. Every one is busy in watching her clothes and figures and the hard work, sacrifices are never felt or seen or commented on.

Someone had to say this again?
Do you have such low standards?
1st round exit week on week ok with you?

How long are you going to say at least an Indian has come so far. So far to #100? Do Indians continue to have SUCH low standards?

People from war torn countries have won singles GSlams as teenagers and been world no.1.

And you're still gonna say 'let us appreciate this much at least'?
Shame. Ind will never be sports power with this mindset.

Oomshik Tooshik, whoever and from wherever you are, first of all , player from any country can have highs and lows. It's possible that few champion sportsmen from your country also may have suffered injuries and faced difficulty in coming back. Sania is still under 10 doubles player.
Get to know that anybody cannot play the qualifiers or even the first rounds of any international tournaments. You need to have minimum points for that. She is trying to regain her form in singles too.
By the way, is players from your country are going to win this years French Open and all other games tournaments this year and years to come. First learn how to write decently on forums. (Can you tell from which planet are you from?)

She should ask for an entry as an Pakistani citizen. What is her contribution to India. Just hanging on here for the moolah. The press should shun her and devote the space to some other worthies like Mary Kom etc.
