Rafa - the DOPER
by Anuraug Rathor on May 21, 2012 03:23 PM

Strange but never understood how Rafa - the Doper recovers so fast from injuries. Less then a month ago he withdrew from a match against Murray becoz of severe knee pain. Now he is all ready to win another FO. What meds/treatment he takes for miracle recoveries

All players except GOAT Fede are dopers. All ATP officials are also dopers. If they dont allow 2.345 seconds more when Rafa is serving,he will never win any tournament.I have played tennis at club level for 10 years, before I got tendinitis and retired so I know all about tenni

nadal can't win a single tournament

if the 25 seconds serve rule is strictly followed...but it's a Gentleman's game and he takes advantage of that...

In the match between Nadal & Verdasco , the avg. serve time btwn points by both players was 39 & 33 seconds respectively......On one point, the stop watch was displayed on his serve on the TV screen, n it stopped at 41 secs !!!!

nadal was serving like Pete Sampras in 2010 US open , just with the change of grip ( his fans believe this theory ) ....y is he nt able to do that kind of serve now :-) ..

to know Nadal's success , google "the curious case of nadal tennishasasteroidproblem " ....

Blue clay
by Bango Tamgo on May 16, 2012 11:57 AM  | Hide replies

Blue clay is the only surface that is perfect for tennis. That is why Fede the GOAT won it.In Wimbledon a few grass blades have been purposely left longer only where Nadal plays,so it has become slower.Nadal dopes anyway. In Roland Garros the clay has been tweaked to suit Nadal. In Aus and US Open also when Nadal plays they slow the hard courts.Otherwise GOAT Fede would never lose. All players on the ATP world tour except Fede are dopers and also the ATP officials are dopers.

Age 30 - 30
by deepak kotnis on May 15, 2012 01:40 PM  | Hide replies

Lot of credit needs to be given to Roger for playing so well at 30. This is a game where sometimes ppl retire at age of 18 due to injuries. 28 is considered as the highest age for winning performance. But Roger looks in sublime form even today. It's mental not physical that he loses to a below average clay master like nadal so often. If he can be slightly stronger on games with nadal mentally, nadal would break records for being a runner-up.

that shows how much you have actually watched nadal play.....if
fedex can even match Rafa's mental toughness, he would still have to slug it out to get him now

a below avg clay master does not win slams at Aus and US, does not play epic 5 setters at Wimbledon

Lets compare when these 2 players hang thier boots. Federer will still be the guy with maximum slams, and the way nadal has to run to get his points, he may very well have his feet inside those hung boots :)

Correct, clay master cant win Aus Open and US Open...so can you explain why you call Nadal a clay master?Nadal may well have his feet inside his hung boots, but you just put your boots into your mouth.

THE NEW TENNIS RANKINGS
by HUSSAIN MITHANI on May 15, 2012 06:54 AM  | Hide replies

1 Novak Djokovic 11,200 (Age 24)
2 Roger Federer 9,430 (Age 30)
3 Rafael Nadal 9,105 (Age 25)

While Novak and Nadal are almost the same age, federer is playing exceptionally well at the age of 30. He just displaced Nadal to become no.2 in the world. Its not easy to achieve at 30 age in tennis. Roger Federer is showing to everyone why HE IS THE GREATEST TENNIS PLAYER OF ALL TIME.

Agreed. Wimbledon surface is not as fast as it used to be and its more clay-like than grass.

I agree with Jay.Till 2008,all was well with Wimbledon and it was grass. In 2008 in the final they manipulated it.Then in 2009 also it was ok,grass again. After that again they tweaked with the grass and made it slow like clay.In fact it might just be a illusion that it's grass,it might be green clay.In 2010 it went too far, they even changed the US Open to clay.

In fact,Fedex could have created more records than SRT if Nadal's birth was delayed by 5 years, and it Roddick,Philippousis,Hewitt,Gonzalez and Baghdatis were 5 years younger. It's a cruel quirk of fate.Anyway,if all 4 slams were played on blue clay with a slightly more slippery twist,Federer would have scored 5 calender slams.

He lost to Rafa twice as many times as he beat him,but that was because the ATP manipulated the courts and wind speed and humidity on Nadal's side of the court.
