She is much hyped player lacking consistency. If she survives for the second round in Olympics, it will be a miracle.

Her statement came late
by Rafique Haider on Jun 27, 2012 06:14 PM  | Hide replies

She was quiet for some time, I mean few days. She with the behest of Bhupathi camp was busy drafting the script on how to make things appear as if she has that kind of patriotism as stated. Disregarding the fact that she is in Olympics because of wild card entry due to her partnering Paes. Otherwise her wildcard entry would have been doubtful. If she is too confident of Vishnu (I appreciate Vishnu) why not she partner her again, also why not Bhupathi or Bopanna partner him? Truly porki sentiments here, either her marrying or the Bhupathi camp wherein Bopanna paired Porki in many grandslams

TYPICAL INDIAN MENTALITY OF AITA
by damodaran mohan on Jun 27, 2012 04:58 PM  | Hide replies

Sania is absolutely right.AITA's decision on mixed doubles reflects the typical Indian mentality of sacrificing woman's interest to assuage male ego.

crazy decision to partner her with Leander
by RamRam on Jun 27, 2012 04:31 PM

Doubles is more about the chemistry between the players and the sum total goes much more than what their individual talents give when added. In this respect, Sania partnering with Mahesh is a better bit for the country. AITA has made some horrendous decision, convenient enough to blame the players' when they return with no medals.

Why media is always pulling down great people
by Maihoon Don on Jun 27, 2012 03:13 PM

I have seen that useless guys like Ramdev, Kejriwal, B00p0tty, B00painna, Insania etc have become more famous than the likes of great Indian icons like Tendulkar, Leander, Manmohan Singh etc. These f00ls come and say anything in the media and then their useless words are given importance.

Hyderabad and Bangalore unite against Kolkata
by Maihoon Don on Jun 27, 2012 03:11 PM  | Hide replies

This is exactly what has happened. Two Blr boys and 1 Hyd girl have revolted against a Kolkata guy, more than that an Indian tennis player who has played his heart for India. Same cannot be said about Sania or B00p0tty. Because of media, these mediocre souls from Hyd and Blr have assumed greater importance than the great Indian tennis star Leander paes.

Associations have rules
by R Fernandes on Jun 27, 2012 02:59 PM

or each member will make his own.Strangely this is happening now in the AITA.If you follow the rules there will be no controversy.Almost everyone thinks his boss is a pain:but he has to either listen or quit.In the AITA, those who do not want to follow the rules should quit yet they want to enforce their own. This is not OK-no doubt their human feelings 'may' have been hurt by another member.

Tennis for future
by R SRINIVASAN on Jun 27, 2012 02:58 PM

shame on Paes!
nothing more than the spoilt brat of Indian tennis!
What he has uttered in public about Vishnu is what he has all along been doing with the likes of Mahesh Sanis and Rohan and even Ramesh. All thanks to his fathers unequalled influence in the AITA.
So I would not have been surprised if Vishnu or Som tommorrow decide to shun doubles with Paes. Afterall Paes days are over! he is nearing 40! and the youngsters are the future!
Rightly Paes should be left to play SINGLES and India should play youngsters to blood them for FUTURE.
