shame on Paes! nothing more than the spoilt brat of Indian tennis! What he has uttered in public about Vishnu is what he has all along been doing with the likes of Mahesh Sanis and Rohan and even Ramesh. All thanks to his fathers unequalled influence in the AITA. So I would not have been surprised if Vishnu or Som tommorrow decide to shun doubles with Paes. Afterall Paes days are over! he is nearing 40! and the youngsters are the future! Rightly Paes should be left to play SINGLES and India should play youngsters to blood them for FUTURE.
Should ask for a CBI inquiry as to why no body wants to pair with Paes. The guy seems to be unwanted. Sania rightly says that she should get the first option of choosing her partner above Paes as she is of a higher ranking than him. Rightly she feels offended being offered as a lolly pop to keep Paes from crying. Take a bow Paes.

fact is bhupati is not get chance in Olympics and sania get backdoor entry. Than who have right to select his partner? Is'nt the leander himself? because only leander get direct entry in Olympics
While pretending to be a great supporter of India she goes and choses a paki prik to service her. Cant be helped if both Leander and Bhoopotty wants turns with this paki woman, she has empty spaces between her ears and leggs
It is important to note what is not said, as what is said. Without saying so in so many words, Sania has clearly indicated that it is her preference to play with Mahesh Bhupathi. And said it in such a professional way that even someone like Leander Paes and the idiots in charge of AITA cannot take offense at what she has said.
Brilliant Sania, absolutely brilliant.
The point now is, does Leander have the guts to say he will play with Vishnu Vardhan, and not play with Sania? And let Sania play with Bhupathi? If the guy wants to salvage any self respect from this situation, that is what he should do - but if he is ruled by his ego, then it will be sad.
It is indeed a pity that the few sportsmen who make it big in India get trapped in their egos!

Same can be said with Bhupati right? He could have done the same thing that Sania did now. Instead of flaming Paes, he could have said the same words. Why he did not do that?
It's not only Paes who's at fault here. Same thing is done by Bhupati as well as the 1di0t Bopanna.
All of them are full of egos and India is assured of waste of money and no medals our of this tennis teams.

Since she has vast experience of "playing" with many guys in India and PAkistan she may have founf Bhoopotty's performance better
Absolutely great statement by Sania. Just as Tendulkar is glorified in cricket in spite of equally fantastic achievements for the country (the emphasis is on the word `country' here) by the likes of Kumble, Dravid, Laxman etc., Leander Paes is our glorified Tennis star. What AITA failed to inform the public was that though Paes is the highest ranked Indian individual in doubles, the better ranked doubles pair is Bhupathi-Bopanna in Men's doubles and Bhupathi-Saina in Mixed doubles. Since doubles is a team game, these are the best teams for Olympic. Instead, AITA pandered to the ego of an individual making a mockery of the others and misleading the country and the general public. In other words, just as Tendulkar is made bigger than the game by the media in a team game, similarly Paes is made bigger than what he is in Tennis. Bhupathi has an equally enviable grandslam record in doubles as Paes. AITA has handled the whole thing in a ridiculous manner putting the interests of an individual above the country. What a pity! We expect Sania, Bhupathi and Bopanna to do well after all this drama!
Sania is right , I have a lot of respect for her, she has been a true sportsman and an Indian for saying she would play with Peas, Mahesh or anyother partner if thats what the country needs. I think the Indian tennis association and Leander in particular should learn. She is the only tennis sensation in the whole of south east asia who has achieved so much. And people who call her non Indian are just ignorant, I think she has bought more laurels to India then anyone of us who keeps judging her, And even though I like leander in this occasion mate you should have just played with Vishnu Vardhan after Mahesh declined playing with you and if you had kept quiet and carried on this would have been more admirable however now it seems like your a bully and for Sania to play for the country makes her more admirable remember there is no cash incentive for winning a medal in Olympics and Sania is a very succesful sportswoman in India financially.
