never in the history
by veerapuram dharan on Jun 11, 2012 06:07 PM  | Hide replies

never in the history that one could see three top players fighting for supremacy in all the grand slams..this is one of the best phase for tennis..previously,it used to be McEnroe vs borg, McEnroe vs connors, Edberg vs Becker, Sampras vs agassi, agassi vs courier, fed vs nad etc..all were duels..but this should be the first of its kind..

Correct except for the fact that Federer is finished and is not a serious threat at the Grand Slams anymore.

He lost that opportunity when he lost 3 slam finals in a row or else he would be standing total of 14, just two behind from Federrer

R.Nadal...
by Anurag Rathore on Jun 11, 2012 06:00 PM  | Hide replies

He was in awesome form in this tournament. He didn't lose any set till semifinal. He deserves the this title. He proved why he is all time best clay court player. Nadal got advantage of rain interruption but still I feel he would have won in 5 setters if match had completed yesterday.

Anurag, at the end a win is a win. Yesterday after the rain, Nadal's top spin were in affective which brings Nole into the game and it was Nole who got the advantage yesterday and Nole was too good to dominate the later part of the game yesterday. But I agree with you, it should have been a five setter “Ronald Gaross Finale” in true sense. It was much disappointing to see the game finished in a double fault. Crazy...

I hate him...and my dear fellow Indians, saala you guys would not have seen a tennis racket and you guys comment about grass, clay courts..picking up lines from TV commentators huh?

Bad Luck Djokovic
by kalyankumar patra on Jun 11, 2012 05:57 PM  | Hide replies

If yesterday would have finished the match Novak Djokovic could have won the match, because after losing 2 sets he won 3rd one and looked very good form in 4th Set. Any how Congrats Nadal, u r the master of clay court. We shall wait to see what’s happen in Wimbaldon and others.
