There is no justice in India. Anywhere, whatever you do, how much ever you achieve, how much ever you give to your country and people around you, they will hit back at you at the first opportunity they get. Shame on West Bengal for treating a woman this way!

A simple police constable or a petty Govt.employee or Khap panchayat can harras an educated .decent law abiding Indian.India is amomng the most preesive nations in the world along with N.Korea ,Saudi Arabia or Aghanistan.Indians do not know this
Adding insult to injury, the Railways ( Her employer ) has suspended her from service. Is there not even a single right minded thinking brave man or woman to fight for her ??? What has she done wrong. ? Take the other party. She is an estranged woman of 30 years ( elder to Pinki ) Is live-in relationship a morally " accepted " form of relationship in Indian community ??? Nobody seems to find fault with this " estranged woman in a live-in relationship " If there was a " live-in " relationship, then Pinki having sexual intercourse ( If, at all, that happenned, ) would not amount to " rape " at all !! That would only be a "consensual sexual relationship " If anybody who has the " real facts " of the case could enlighten all of us, we wouldn't be left wondering why Pinki ( a Gold medalist ) is being subjugated to such horrific torture by the Community, Police and the Railways !! Is there no one to stand up for her ?????

I agree that what was done to her was wrong but it is not correct to blame Railways to suspend her . It is the conduct Rule in Govt that if any employee is arrested and kept in custody for 48 hours the suspension is AUTOMATIC. It can be revoked later. This is the reason that Police and CBI arrests Govt servants on Friday after office hours so that they get bail only on Monday and even if they are innocent they get suspended. It is misuse of office procedure but the MEDIA loves it !!

in rape cases, accused always get arrested without any investigation whether he is innocent or not.. in india, most of the rape cases are false... and women who mis-use rape laws always get sympathy and innocent men has to face humilia tion... pinki was also facing the same charges until she was proven a girl.. even on rediff public was abusing her just bcoz she was doubted as man.. its very difficult to be a man in india.. she got released immediately after her gender was identified..
How can it be rape when the victim is a partner for a long time. This is pure manipulation and shame to India that at this modern age they force a sports person to have gender test. What a shame indeed. Winning nothing at international arena and harassing those who at least win something. I guess the policemen definitely took the advantage of the situation and manhandled her. First partner must undergo gender test as well and then rape test.
