How can it be rape when the victim is a partner for a long time. This is pure manipulation and shame to India that at this modern age they force a sports person to have gender test. What a shame indeed. Winning nothing at international arena and harassing those who at least win something. I guess the policemen definitely took the advantage of the situation and manhandled her. First partner must undergo gender test as well and then rape test.

Even then, Police is not supposed to commit these atrocities. Only a certified medical professional should be carrying out the test as per established standard procedure.
This is a despicable, Taliban-like act by the authorities. The policemen responsible should be suspended immediately and if found guilty should be terminated. Same goes to the private nursing home. Their license should be revoked since they are an equal party to this offense.
I think the persons who manhandle her should be subjected to gender test in full view of the public. This is a kind of rape and we public should rape these people who manhandle her.
