how can u expect India to be a sports power when not even 1 percent of budgetary allocation goes towards sports. And what percentage of that money is actually utilized. Abhinav Bhindra won due to his own efforts and no sports authority had any claim to his success.

To be a good sportsperson needs a good character first. A country's character and how strong a country really is known by how good it is in sports. India's poor performance in sports is very clear.
India apart from cricket should do good in olympics.Like abhinav bindra India should win lot of olympic medals and show the world that they are sports power in the world

but cricket administrators r very cunning. they will soon arrange for a home series with bangladesh where india will win convincingly and sachin will get his much desired and hyped hundred.
