To be a good sportsperson needs a good character first. A country's character and how strong a country really is known by how good it is in sports. India's poor performance in sports is very clear.

Recently when we lost in England there were so many excuses. Now no excuses and it is really a very poor show. Some of the senior players went to Australia well ahead to the tour to prepare for the tour and seems that they enjoyed their "holidays" without any practice. Really feel ashamed.

When I was in University, I saw players being picked to go all over India to play. I remember fifty percent of the players were just picked up because of sheer influence so they could travel all over India. I was too young to raise a voice then. Our national character is very poor. Look at China, dominating sports. Wait till China jumps into Cricket. India will have to go back to Gilli Dunda.
Why Indians are not ready to accept the fact , one who plays good , will always win. Australian team is good , its a fact that we can't beat them. Our news channels are useless , all the days through out the year they talk all non sense on cricket and say TEAM INDIA KE SHER. Just play game and forget.
the acting president of the IOA, has predicted that india will be winning a minimum of 7 golds @ london 2012. he also gave a hint of the break up, shooting-3,badminton-1,boxing-2,& wrestling-1. also he said that london is a second home to indians & our sportsperson will get a lot of crowd support, thus the chances of reaping of a heap of medals is a big possibility. he mentioned that india is on the verge of becoming a sports superpower. so the scene in 2012 is very rosy,& hope our sportsperson don't tank like our cricketers did in england in summer 2011 & doing presently in australia.
BCCI with so much money, why can't they prepare true green fast track pitches in India for training purpose and as well for Ranji games to groom future youngsters. Just by going earlier by big three to Australia will not help in any way. They will be tagged as flat track bullies only.

In that case, Indian team will lose both in India and abroad. At least let us win in India and also defeat others in India

Boss, he talked about preparing pitches for domestic games and NOT for test matches.
ASAP. And give every player a chance to perform once in India and once outside and if they don't meet expectations. Also why don't cricket have stats for misfields and dropped catches. Will show where our so called fake athletes stand with the other countries. Thanks.
Since Sachin has been so selfish and doesnt want to retire, I hope he ever gets that 100th 100. Besides he scored his 1st odi century after 70 matches. So lot of the current players are far ahead of him. Champions perform anywhere in any condition under any coach under any weather and don't complain about fatigue.

Let him be selfish in this Test at least so that his century may save us from defeat.
