Hopeless

This shivendra is hopeless. He should be thrown out of the team permanently.
I saw indian matches and this guy wasted so many opportunities. He was not able to even collect the ball.
If he had converted even 50% on the chances he got, we would have easily been to semis.

It is indeed disgracing for palyer like Shivendra to blame the coach. Having watched all our matches, it was the worst performence by Indian team. The centre was in operative, the wings appeared non existing and most of our guys did not have the zeal stamina nor coordination as a team. Shivendra you cannot go on making excuses. Please retire right away. Players with no dedication and of poor quality has no right what soever to levy charges. Where is Ajitpal Singh, Zafar Iqba, Harbindar Singh, K.Baskaran.? If you ahve any shame left in you please take leaf out of these greats and many more.

Shivendra holds coach Nobbs responsible for Olympic debacle
by Nohopeyes on Aug 25, 2012 09:13 AM

We should agree with Shivendra!
Nobbs was on the field, not Shivendra.
Nobbs asked them to play attacking game...and hence Shivendra was not able to score goals, as he was prepared to save goals not to score goals...Shivendraji...I agree with you!

always blame the coach

In last 20 yrs every indian player has blamed the coach for the debacle after olympics. was coach to blame for extremely below power fitness of indian team or for its lack of intensity. was coach responsible for selfish game of shivendra where he always wanted to score himself instead of passing to a better placed teammate like the germans and dutch forwards do. shivendra along with sandeep is the biggest culprit of the debacle and he conveniently blames the coach. Shivendra should learn from saina and sushil in terms of preparation and focus instead of indulging in blame game. saina and sushil were the fittest athletes in their category while shivendra was one of the least fit. its time that self centered individuals like shivendra should be thrown out of the team like england did to petersen to maintain team unity irrespective of the level of talent because self centered individuals destroy a team spirit

Rightly said. Apart from Sardar Singh and to some extent Captain Bharat Chekri, I felt none of the other players deserved to play at olympics. They left out lot many experienced players who would have atleast played with sense and avoided a complete whitewash.

Shivendra should be sacked for this comment
by nair radhakrishnan on Aug 25, 2012 08:29 AM

This guy is trying to gain sympathy and has gone to the extent of blaming the coach. Shivendra should admit that he was useless and so was the other players.Shame on you guys.
The Australian coach tried everything to upgrade this team and i have been watching every proceedings but, these guys dont understand at all.
