Hockey India should apologize for not letting the Indian National team players play in the WSH.Even many Pakistan national team members played in it.The national team members could have played alongside stars like Livermore,Almada,Henwood etc.I feel very helpless.
If we observe closely India won two medals in shooting where luck plays a big role, and one in badmintor wherein our player saina was definitely not a match to her opponents. In majority of the games we are not even competing. This indicates that we do not deserve to go to olympics. It is a shame that when countries with very small population are winning medals with full confidence, a nation of 1.21 billion population shows such pathetic performance. It is better not to participate in olympics then this shameful show. There could be a hundread reasons for the poor show but the fact remains that we are not at all good in sports. It is 60 years since independence and if we have not improved then when will we improve ? Chances are very slim. So, it is not wise to spend the money in some welfare program by which atleast a few poor people will get some food or clothing or shelter ?

You are absolutely correct. India should not send anyone for the next six Olympics atleast. They can use this time frame to practice and become perfect.

It is really shameful for me also to state that we 1.21 BN two legged creatures in our country. We have corrupted leaders irrespective of political affiliation. A 80 - 90 % corrupted govt employees. It is not of wonder that our players are without commitment, accountability to their mother land.these idiots think that they are spoiling govt money, but actually these losers waste tax payers money. So when they return to India, welcome them with rotten eggs and tomatoes.

You stupid person.You can only talk and unfortunately there are millions like you.People like you cannot find a solution and run away from problems.Please tell me what games you have tried to participate in?Don't talk about spending money on welfare.Try spending less on cricket and for heaven's sake get back all the money in the Swiss bank accounts.There is luck involved in shooting but it is foolish to discount the efforts put in.And Saina was on the heels of the Chinese for a very long time and it was only a matter of time that one of the Chinese ladies crumbled.Luck comes to those who work hard.Our shooters are an absolute delight.They give their best and get medals.You must be some software guy sitting all day on your computer.Don't blame the system and don't trash talk.Don't give excuses that a person cannot make a livelihood through.Through proper planning,everything is possible.I have pledged my child to become an Olympian for India.I am only waiting to find out what game he likes.
Just as I predicted before the start of the Olympic Games, India will end up being placed 12th (the last position) and will qualify for the "Wooden Spoon". Appropriate for the bottom of the barrelers.
Pakistan is in third place in their league. With some luck in the form of losses by the first and second place teams in their league and a better performance in their last league match, they might make it to the semi-finals. That will be very interesting for the Indian Hockey team and its corrupt association.

They need to beat Aus if they ve to go to semi.. Which is 5% ve chances looking at their performances in the game.. For India, we should not send these players_shame

Pakistan hockey players cannot beat the Australians even in their dreams.Pakis will get absolutely creamed. At least by 3 goals.
