if the ego's were kept apart and putting the interest of the nation first Paes and Bhupathi could have been the number one doubles team in the world. now digest your fate and live happily.

No Medal for Bhupathi
by C Datta on Aug 01, 2012 05:25 PM

Had you paid serious attention to tennis rather than trying to settle personal scores than things might have been different. Misplaced egos do'nt win medals.

Why? Paes never had any problems in playing with anybody. He has willingly paired with a rank new-comer...he is not in the same bracket as your guru Boooo-potty

Serves him right
by abhishek baranwal on Aug 01, 2012 05:09 PM

The results served him right. Not only him, its a good lesson for Bopanna as well. Lee-Hesh pair has won Wimbledon and French Open together. What has Bhupati Bopanna done together? No achievements whatsoever....even after that, if they wanted to arm twist Indian Tennnis, this result has really served them right. And this will be a lesson for others in Tennis as well.

bring back these 2 buffoons asap..no need of a vacation in London
by GYANESHWAR NATH on Aug 01, 2012 05:09 PM

The writing was on the wall even b4 they left 4 london...if u let ur ego and attitude take precedence over sportmanship...u can never be a winner...and yes Mr Bhupathi u r right when u said u propabably gonna die without an olympic medal....& don't b 2 surprised that u hav also end ur partners career...u have no idea what the future has in store 4 u (courtesy AITA) the moment u land in India..

Perfect Ideal
by shakti mohapatra on Aug 01, 2012 04:42 PM

This is the most ideal consequence for these 2 duffers.
Paes had almost decided to cede the Olympic berth so that only 1 Indian team plays. But ultimately good sense prevailed & he compromised on his principled stance. True sportsmen NEVER let their ego to come before team & win.
