no comfort in feeling dejected now

Mahesh, I also share your sad feelings of losing out on a cherished olympic medal. But all this is your undoing only. you put yourself above the country and refused to play with a seasoned professional. Your action forced Bopanna also to toe your line. And now both of you have become the villians in the eye of the Tennis world and your professional rating has nose-dived to such an idiotic level. In future, be a professional and do not bicker about hurt ego. Also, do not worry. You have proved yourself to be a champion in the past and keep faith in your hope. After all, you might be playing the next Oly and top it up with a dream Gold medal. here is wishing all the very best in future.

What is this concept of "putting nation over country ?" Does this mean playing with Paes despite knowing you wont win a medal ? Are you making any sense or are you just commenting while you are half asleep ?

They never won a medal before even when they were much younger and at the top of their game.

Importance in your life
by nilesh kubal on Aug 01, 2012 02:59 PM

You people gave importance to your personal ego instead of country. Now you should not fill guilty. Infact nation should fill guilty on players like you and others are playing for olympic which are not having any patriotism

Paes is the biggest culprit. He made a big issue out of nothing because of his ego and thereby spoiled the mental state of all the players involved. India will most probably return with no medals from tennis.

Mahesh, Now it is proved that Pride goes before a fall.
Rohan should not have done what he did at this young age. This is not sportsmanship but gamesmanship.
