But the way he struggled against David Ferrer, its not a good sign for him.

Its a sign on Great player my dear, u play well and u win and u play ugly still u won.
Look at MANU, they may not be the best team in IPL in last few years but have still won league, even this year i think they are 4th or even 5th best team in league but sitting well on top for a league.

he struggled last year at the first round french open as well against john isner. that has never happened before. as he is getting older, he is showing little signs of weakness. his clay success won't last forever. as he gets older, it will be tough on nadal to win on clay year after year.4

nadal's exploits are only on clay. 6 of GS have come at french open... if all his clay court titles are taken away he is just an average player. he can be called clay court expert.

If Federer's Wimbledon titles are taken away,he is just an average player. He can be called a grass court expert.

Your comment is irrational..Roger has won only one french open...so does it mean Roger is an average player...It has been always a case that a particular player likes a type of surface and they dominate it..Pete sampras has never won French open, but he was the best in Grass..I am sure in your books even Pete is an average player..

actually pete has won on outer hard courts and has 5 us open titles. same with federer. not only that pete has 5 atp world indoor hard courts titles and federer has 6. pete has 7 wimbledon and federer has 6. so to compare these player to a clay-courter like nadal is even more irrational. pete and roger should never be compared to nadal as they have shown they can win multiple times on different surfaces. nadal has won on clay alone.

ur trying to be witty, i suppose? u are not. anyways, grass at wimbledon plays like amud court now in the 2nd week. that is why baseliners have dominate dthe tiurnament. this is not the grass that becker, edberg and sampras used to play on....attain some knowledge before u post.

Also...please check old videos of Edberg, becker, John Mac, and peers...in second week the grass are always dying and the base line is more a mud...please give some gyan with rational back up

Roger should never be compared to Nadal.Nadal has won his career slam at a way younger age.He has won an Olympic Gold.He has 21 ATP masters titles and history's best winning percentage. He has a waaay superior H2H against Federer. He has shown he is the man to beat on all surfaces.Roger is yet to beat him at a non Wimbledon slam.So to compare a grass courter like Roger to Nadal is irrational.Eat that.

There was nothing dufferent yesterday.
Nadal is Nadal and will remain Nadal, a player have so much of success in a decade so consistent is absolutely unbelievable.
Way to go champs, the way i know you. U r the only player in top 10 apart from Andy who can still improve his game where rest are almost room for improvement, thats give u edge to u. I bet Nadal for Wimbledon and Rolland this year.

Nadal returns with the bang only for the clay season. He tends to disappear during the beginning and end of the year. that's been the trend throughout the career of Nadal. it explains why Nadal hasn't won a non-clay event since 2010. he is a clay-court expert.

And being a Clay court experts is a crime of course!
Why haven't other players dominated on their favored surfaces the way Nadal has dominated on Clay?
So far as Federer is concerned, Nadal has dominated him on all surfaces except indoor carpets.
