FedEx, Nad & Djok

Las few yrs were very boring to watch tenis, as most of the matches remained one sided. There was no updown in top rankings.Lets hope FedEx will comeback and at least we can see a tringular competition or may be some other comes into competition...

The Gulf between Djokovic and Nadal
by rajashi ghosh on Sep 13, 2011 10:29 AM

It is indeed a major concern for Nadal that he has been decimated by Dkokovic in the last two Gramd Slam finals. In fact, Djokovic has got past Nadal with more ease than he was with Federer.

What seems evident is that Nadal has the game to beat everyone else except Djokovic. I have never seen Nadal being demolished this way. He looked hapless against Djokovic in Wimbledon and the story was similar in US Open too.

Unless Nadal does something to lift himeslf mentally against Djokovic, I am afraid the trend will continue.

Novak has had a terrific year which is proved by his confidence level which took him over the line against roger.that unbelievable return has had everybody taken by surprise...

seeing the way novak has beaten rafa this year ..straight set wins at clay , easy 4 setter wins at big w and us ... there's no doubt that roger with his more variety and skills seems to be running novak more for his money .. he dominated him at french and at us he dominated him in the 1st , 2nd and 5th sets...i just get the feeling that if novak's game drops 5 percent its roger who will get the better of him earlier than rafa...djokovic though surely can win the french and win the career slam...
my gut feeling also says that next yr murray will win one slam as he is giving himself too many chances to win by reaching almost every slam semis..

Jokovic has stayed behind federer and nadal for a good part of his career...if he could find code to defeat both of them...I am sure Nadal can also find the way to beat jokovic....a bit unlucky this year nadal....PLus Nadal and jokovic are of the same age unlike federer who is now 30 and might start running out of Gas....

seeing the way roger has played in the slams this yr it doesn't seem he is running out of gas .. he played perhaps is best french open match against rafa this year was the only one to beat novak in slams this yr and was woefully unlucky to lose against novak in us...but one thing is for sure that he is not playing at the same intensity for better part of his matches for which he has lost both at bigw and us while being ahead two sets...his level suddenly dropped in both those matches and allowed opponents tsonga and novak to dominate him too easily..he should go attacking and try win matches as early as possible.

Kudos to the winner Djokovic having beaten Rafa in near straight sets. Having seen the match in the finals, it appears that though Roger lost to the ultimate winner in the semis, he was not at all found to be lacking the verve and the firepower to win again the grand slam. Only that it was not his day and probably had he come to the finals, he wud have won the Grand slam. Roger, we r still your fans and hope u come back again

Roger is not lacking in the verve, but he is definitely lacking in the nerve.

Guess who has Nadal's number?
by Shiva MS on Sep 13, 2011 07:22 AM  | Hide replies

No surprises there. Djoker owns the pathetic nadal. Rafa was lucky enough with the draws in the past years. The truth is that he will never defend a non-french slam...ever!! A clay courter who won other slams probably fits the bill in terms of a description. Nadal was pathetic, Defensive, clue-less and boring. Too bad he couldn't make the charity from federer count. For god's sake, Nadal had a tired injured man in his hands and he fluffed and surrendered. Matador from Manacor eh? Tails in between legs. That was a surrender. No shame in it though. Watch his french open slip out of his hands next year.

Shiva MS is a pathetic buttplug with just about enough gray matter to survive.Clay courter??LOL if Rafa's a clay courter I'd bet you'd give anything to become one yourself.2 Wimbledon titles apart from being a beaten finalist thrice,US Open and Australian titles plus an Olympic Gold (something that 'poetry in motion' Roger Federer himself failed to achieve). That's some clay courter!!Get a life already dude...the only thing we're watching 'slip' is the sheen off 'charitable' Federer....not even a slam this year for God's sake??Cant even win a match point for Gid's sake??Sheeesh!!Hell,no shame in it though. The only people who are ashamed are Shiva MS parents for birthing such a retard.

You are theorising with insufficient data. Nadal is doing fine. He is reaching the finals. If he continues to reach finals, he is bound to win some. With Federer gone, the only challenger for Nadal is Djokovic. If Djokovic is taken out by some other opponent, Nadal is the one to benefit.
It is too early to write Nadal off.

YES AGREE WITH YOU. BUT NADAL IS NOT ABLE TO STOP THIS NEW DIETING CHAMPION, HE IS NOT RUNNING LIKE NADAL USED TO DO, HE CAN COVER THE WHOLE COURT WHILE STANDING NO NEED TO RUN, NOVAK HAS MORE STROKES THAN NADAL, NADAL'S STRENGTH ONLYY HIS FOREHAND AND PASSING SHOTS BUT NOVAK HAS GOT ALL WEAPONS. NADAL HAS TO FIND A WAY TO COME OUT OF THIS MAN. HOPE NADAL WILL COME FAST. BECZ I LOVE NADAL'S MATURITY AS A PLAYER AND HIS SPORTSMAN SPIRIT. HE IS A CHAMPION NO DOUBT.

I missed the match, but will watch the recording to see you play.

Looks like uncle Federer or younger brother Murray needs to take this little boy out as he mastered the art of beating you. You will beat them all hands down but for this one little man.

Congrats to Djoker, had an amazing year 2011.
