Djokovic

has got Nadal's number firmly in his pocket.
He has a ideal game against Nadal. Strong serve and powerful deep ground strokes to either side of the court. Robin Soderling used same tactics against Rafa in 2009 French Open.
It is difficult to do it consistently over 3 sets. Novak is able to do it consistently this year. If Novak is able to keep this form going then hard times are awaiting Nadal.

Lessons to be learnt from Djokovic
by A Singh on Sep 13, 2011 11:42 AM

Djokovic's exploits in the year 2011 are results of his single minded pursuance of his goal, for which he sacrificed the lure of the tongue.
If we are simply willing to eat what is necessary for us, and not eat what is unnecessary even if it is not harmful, each one of us can achieve the objective of his/ her life.

Where are the Nadal fans....
by Solomon on Sep 13, 2011 11:40 AM  | Hide replies

When Nadal was repeatedly beating Federer, Nadal fans went after the Federer fans hammer and tongs. Nadal fans virtually hounded out quite a few knowledgeable Federer fans out of this forum, just because Federer was losing to Nadal and that too only in the finals! Where are the Nadal fans hiding now! Djoko has now got the measure of Rafa, and Nadal fans have run for cover. They took pleasure in demeaning the greatness of Roger and now they have no place to hide. It is a lesson to the Rafa fans and hope they learn from this!

The only people hounded out of the forum are the idiots.Looks like one got left out though-Mr Solomon!Solomon, get a life-your friends here showed disrespect to a great champion,Rafa Nadal. And they paid the price.Get over it and deal with the fact that the greatness and class of Roger Federer cant be disputed, but neither can the fact that he could NEVER dominate Rafa Nadal.EAT THAT.

Djoko for 4 more months
by Roger Federer on Sep 13, 2011 11:35 AM

Djoker's great form and fitness will continue for 4 more months. Next he will lose at year- ending ATP World Tour. Again Fedex, Rafa & Murray will compete. Its good for tennis fans to have 3-4 good players competing

NADALS SERVE COST HIM THE TITLE..............
by Ali M on Sep 13, 2011 11:27 AM

Yesterdays game was really good... but sad to see Nadal on the loosing end.. Rafa himself got to blame as he served like Sania Mirza... Evrytime he was on a break point when Djokovic was serving. He played so well to break his serve (very difficult to break Djokovic who has got really good service game to his credit)but could not hold on to his... He was serving 80mph of which Djoker took advantage of..... Now i think Rafa should serve like the other guys or atleast like Andy Murray to win matches easily. It was quite windy also and to Djokers luck wenever he returned the ball back to to Nadal it use to drop close to the base line. Anyways Rafa all the best next time but i wanted you to win..imrpove your serve.. Congrats Djoker....

2012 will be Andy Murray's year !
by Toby Maguire on Sep 13, 2011 10:55 AM

Rafa has an mental edge over Fedex and was bidding to be the greatest of all time...now Djoker has a mental edge over Nadal and beating both of them consistently...guess its time for Andy Murray in 2012 to end the Djoker\'s reign and English Drought....
