You can compare Federer with Agassi, Sampras, Nadal, Joker, Mcanroe, Boris baker, and many more. But can you really compare Sachin with these much people?? apart from Bradman

Federer can only be compared to Sampras...rest are much below their league...if u still want to compare then draw comparisons between Sachin - Lara , Hayden , Sobers , Richards , Gavaskar , Border , Ponting , etc...

WHom do you think is more popular mr.allinone?? Sachin ofcourse is a great player, but nowhere near Federer..He's a class apart.
Comapring Sachin to Roger..!! I mean Roger is a Legend and way to greater sportsman than sachin...Roger is world Legend...Sachin is Legend only to few cricketing playing nations, half of them fom Asia!!!!!!!!!!!

One thing to be considered is both are greats in their own sports. It is the niche that both have made in their particular sport is what matters and not wether cricket has a niche or tennis nas a niche in the world. Wether how many know sachin or how many kjnow federar is invain here. One thing is for sure both of them are mature enough to know each other.

sachin is very poor as compared with federer scheumakers that is why sachin has to play play and play even after his body is not really ready to play this much over dose of cricket like our family member work work and work day and night for our dreams come true sachin also plays for his kids dream come true

Isnt it true....every 5 year a out of the world tennis player emerges...fedex, sampras, nadal, aggasi, etc etc...but in cricket, player like Sachin has to be emrge yet

why not Dravid - tainted sports - rigged matches - fixed score - corrupt admin; here is a guy keeps playing and would not quit unless being kicked. only plays for himself and the lousy records that too against the weakest team! where was he again England!!!
This article is unwarranted just to help some to spook fun of Sachin! Its totally different contrast in both games! I love Federer, enjoy his game and even watched the ATP year end final yesterday! He is a champion & great human being!
And Sachin too a legend in his own game adored by millions and the greatness lies in that he shows the same attitude when as 16 year he showed playing for India!
So please don\'t compare both as they are champions in their respective game
How can you even compare two sportsman of two different games. Can you compare no of runs Sachin scored vis a vis no of serves Federer served? How foolish that comparison would be? Grow up Rediff...
