dont compare tennis with ckt...ckt is followed only in 5-6 countries..while tennis more than 100 and its a global sport.sachin is bachha infront of federer..the whole world knows federer..sachin in only few countries and i agree he has more fans only in India...Federer got huge fans all over the world....

Yeah right... everybody knows what federer is all about... the guy after loosing cries like a baby and the other guy(read nadal) has to come and console him... he is a very good tennis player but don't compare ali, jordan with federer plzzzz!!

No, I don't think Sachin is the first player who is selfish and plays for individual records.
Tendulkar has been in cricket for more than 22 years yet he has not yet mastered the art of performing in crunch situations. Shame on that bahu kunne that even a new comer like Ashwin could register a century.

We are probably the only country in the world who we are not proud of our citizens when they achieve something but always complain that we don't. Cynicism is written all over including this article by rediff which itself is wrong in comparing the two sports forget even the two great sportsmen.. very wrong trend if continued, that will prevent us from appreciating and nurturing talent and skill in the country
