He mentioned everyone but Rafa. Rafa is a genuine "Never Say Die" hero.

not without reason people call him that - the best thing I like about him is that from the same position - he can play at least different shot - I still remember a game in wimbledon - where from the same backhand - he plays a cross court, a down the line and the perfect drop volley - his poor opponent (was it Roddick - cannot remember) approach the net the first two times and on the third wait at the baseline only to see the volley dropping - sheer GENIUS!

U shd have the 'Nerve' of Sampras,Federer

Federer is the most complete player tennis has ever produced...He has the best range of shots ever possessed by a single player...
But the problem is that Federer panics when he goes down and in turn makes even more unforced errors by trying to over-exert himself...while Nadal never cares what position he is and plays the same level of tennis for all 5 sets without thinking of outcome..

So was Sampras, even when giant Goran Ivanisevic was firing aces at him..he kept his cool..played his natural game and became the David who defeated Goliath...He won many matches against Agassi(who was a better technically gifted player) just by sheer determination than skill..

Federer needs to have the 'nerve' of Sampras more than anything else

edberg was the best player on grass courts..his great matches against becker in early nineties were a treat to watch..sadly after that no other player has generated that interest..rafa and fed are close second though.

Boss, for you edberg is the best player because you relate to him, for me nadal is the best player because i relate to him. As far as interest generation is concerned, i believe tennis is more popular than it was in the 90s.

Sampras is Serve and Grass King.....
by Anurag Rathore on Jun 20, 2011 12:35 PM

Sampras has best serve in tennis so far. He is so far best grass court player. It was almost impossible to break his serve on grass court.
