nothing to kudos them, Climax lawrence, pradip, steven dias, sunil chetri, abhishek yadav, renedy singh lacks proper soccer abilitites. Infact some of these players not at all considered at superior clubs like eastbengal and mohunbagan but they r making it easy in the national team. Hows that possible? Bob Houghton never come to kolkata to see the players from bengal, eastbengal, mohunbagan, chirag united he could have been blessed with so many talents from bengal. Without bengal this indian team will never prosper. I am not at all partial being a bengali but this is the real fact. Bengal players not in indian cricket understand but bengal players not in indian soccer can't happen.

India was toyed by Australia. Indian’s looked like they haven’t played any competitive games for ages. [160 million has been spent on Indian Football for AFC preparation [2008-2010]].

I guarantee that if players like robin singh, sanju pradahn, snehashis chakraborty, lal kamal bhowmick, subhash singh, gouranga dutta, gurwinder singh, soumik dey being picked in the side then aussies could have the real taste of indian soccer. Indian footbal will never go ahead if the bengal players are neglected. Cricket without bengal understood nd soccer without it against such opposition will definitely have an impact.

i saw the match, it was no where near to international standard.we need to pass the ball corrctly first.. the strength and stammina in our players were par less than aussies and one basic thing is to pass the ball on ground not arieal always, by watching yesterdays game i saw indians playing headball rather than playing football, thats why they may feel difficult against us

mr achar, its not only the question of passing the ball correctly you need to indicate one very important point i.e. these players lacks the ability of holding the ball, dribbling, skill and passing. This to me is basically a 3rd grade side playing against superior aussies from that view point we can be proud that india has send their 3rd grade team for asia cup

India has progressed well in football in the last few years. The first key step was to qualify for the Asian Cup after winning the AFC challenge in Sri Lanka. That was a tough one. The fighting spirit will take them to a higher league in the next few years. Keep up the spirit and make all of us Indians proud.

Don't believe in the paid news. The reality is India would lose in a bigger margin if Subrata Pal was not excellent in goal keeping.
India didn't play good at all to be congrartualated.

These i think are fake statements from the aussies, I had seen the match India never threaten them while atacking then whats the use of keeping boby houghton and spend some 20 crores, this stupid englishman has got each and every facility he needed for the preparations of asia cup. Now still after his post match interview he hide his fault and the team by the name of "lack of propor infrastructure". Mr.Hougton still what exactly you need now? Guys myself being from bengal I know this Indian soccer team is a 3rd grade one. Non-off these players unable to holder the ball with propoer soccer skills, expect Sayed Rahim Nabi. Climax lawrence, pradip, steven dias, sunil chetri, abhishek yadav, renedy singh lacks those abilitites. Infact some of these players are thrown out from superior clubs like eastbengal and mohunbagan but they r making it easy in the national team. Indain footbal will never go ahead if the bengal players are neglected. This Indian team is like the cricket team without, sachin, veeru, yuvraj, zahir, pathan, gambhir, laxman, raina.
