Photos of unclean toilets, et al .. However it is clear that most of these countries are trying to undermine India's rise while other "Well known media " outlets are trying to serve their own agenda by taking advantage of India's frailities . And amongst these shouting 'Disgrace Disgrace' are those who are serving their Masters for a long time..

The first photos have emerged of the accommodation for athletes at the Commonwealth Games in India.

The images, leaked to the BBC by an unnamed member of a national delegation, are the first illustrations of the conditions that so shocked officials who recently arrived at the athletes' village in Delhi.

The photos show the conditions that were described by the Commonwealth Games Federation as "filthy", "uninhabitable" and "seriously compromised".

We the subjects lost faith in Politicians
by mammen antony on Sep 24, 2010 12:18 AM

The politicos especially from Maharashtra are , at least a majority of them, are corrupt to the core.We have had enough of such samples in the past and at present like Antulays,Kalmadis,Pawars,Adiks and the list goes on.Pm should have entrusted the job of CWG to someone like Ravi,Antony,Sachin Pilot, Sindhya, Jayanti, Ambika or even Moily, or Jaipal Reddy or Maran.Every one is smart in his/her own way.Ofcourse we can not expect anything materialising in India without corruption, but not at this magnitude.Kalmadi is the manifestation of Corrupt rotten mind.He betrayed the faith and self respect of every single Indian.Disgusting Mr.Kalamdi

India believes in true and genuine globalisation

I just read this on ND TV:
------------
Impressed by the quality of work being done by the Kiwi cleaning team, sources said today the OC is now contemplating to request them to help clean up other towers as well.
------------

This means that "Badlega India" is a dream.

What the contractors and the officials must do is petition the OC to allow New Zealand and Australia to host some of the competitions, because they are doing a better job than our local OC.

That would be a truly globalised India.

Imagine, since NZ can do better cleaning, Aussies can do better sports equipment, England has better weather and infrastructure, we should simply follow genuine globalisation principle,

and shift those competitions which have favourable conditions to NZ, Australia or UK.

We are a Commonwealth after all, and this is the age of globalisation :-)

So just like IPL was shifted to South Africa, CWG must be shifted to NZ and Australia.

:-)

Seriously speaking, Govt babus in the OC and related offices will have enough contacts to get them jobs or businesses or plots.

Govt is not fixing any corruption anyway.

So at least as a token of respect to the respect worthy concept of Indian national dignity, Govt must sack the whole office.

And then re-employ only the ones who worked.

Only something so big will shake up the rest of Indian babudom all over the country.

WHOLESALE SACKING of ENTIRE DEPARTMENTS is required at minimum.

Officials must BECOME AFRAID of taking bribes.

hosting the Olympics. I hope the International Olympic Association doesn't even dare thinking about conducting the Olympic games in India in this millennium.

India will be a super power in another 10 years while the younger generation will still be fighting as congress or BJP in the internet forum but don't want to take responsibility on the ground. Simple reason is Indians want to teach but don't want to do
