Pig Sharad Pawar yestreday in a public speech made a joke of Kalmadi.He said "The president of CWG committee felt shame & decided to hang himself.So he goes to one of the stadiums of CWG & hangs a rope in the ceiling & before he puts his head in the rope the ceiling of the stadiums falls." ha ha ha.....
It's true, it's a national shame in the way CWG things are turning up to be footballed domestically and from common wealth nations.
Expecting PM, head of the government to do daily status call is too much to suggest as if CWG event is the only national priority. Atlast, that too happened when things turned up ugly where every CWG stakeholder nation started mocking at India....
Every CWG related department , committee, Sports Minister including atleast Delhi CM and Governor along with Ministerial inchargers should have been made accountable.
How the committees are to be operated and made accountable should have been done long before so that we wouldn't have had this situation today.
Taking action at this juncture on Kalmadi would further disastrous . Better, every attempt should be made to make the games success. Investigation and further action on Kalmadi, responsible bureaucrats including Sports Minister , Delhi CM , Delhi Governor alongwith ministers who deliberately watched this shame to happen owing to rampant courruption comprimising quality and accountability.
How does this becomes a matter of national pride? Just above this article on rediff's home page is the headline "1000 pregnant women die every day in India". Isn't that a matter of more shame than this monkey buisness of CWG. No wonder why we are 3rd world & are called slumdogs....
You are putting the task of saving national honour upon those who have none... An honourable man would never have let things get to this point... He would have taken responsibility a long time ago.
The Works at Village was executed very nicely and the Village was made ready within very short period of time. The last finishing part fo Village was not handled gracefully and mismanaged. ITDC is also responsible for this mess. They could not furnish the apartments with professional approach like they treat their guest. Govt. had no audit control and PM failed misrably.
everything has gone in reverse gear during present upa governance.it is easy to criticize others having responsibilities but do not take responsibilities if u cannot fulfil them.

Seriously...only Narendra Modi can save India from further embarrasments....make him the PM of India..we need somebody to rule with a iron fist.....
The four person responsible for the mess of CWG 2010 and they are Prime Minister Of India Mr. Manmohan Singh, Ms. Shiela Dikshit, CM Of Delhi, Mr M.S Gill Minister of Sports and last but not least Mr. Suresh Kalmadi. Their inaction brought shame to our nation betray the people of India which amount not less than an act of treason. A case should be registered against these four people and be punished accordingly to prevent the repeat ion of these kind of act in future by anybody irrespective of how high he is.
