Stop blaming
by truth truth on Sep 22, 2010 07:45 PM  | Hide replies

In a democracy people hold the ultimate power. In India we just blame everyone else . We don’t take responsibility, we don’t do our duties. And all these are result of that. Politicians and officials are just one among us. How many of us can tell that I never exploited the system in India. Politicians and officials have more access to the system and they are just exploiting it, just like you and me.
So stop blaming. Take responsibility and you will see the change.

No need to worry about the apartments. Stray dogs are already enjoying the beds there. Also, the labour is using the toilets to their full satisfaction.

Go and put forward this question before the PWD and contractors manning the project. They will tell u the arrangements they need to make for housing the labourers.

Labourers are supposed to be housed in makeshift jhuggies at the sites alongwith temporary makeshift toilets.

Do u think you need to allow the labour to first build a flat: then use its kitchen and toilets for personal use. Are u crazy or what??

Common Wealth and the Games Shiela's People play
by vasant nair on Sep 22, 2010 07:36 PM  | Hide replies

From an initia budgetary outlay of Rs.650 Crs the bill had gone out of the roof...an astounding figure of Rs.70,000 Crores (as reporeted on the front page of today's TOI).

It is open chapter of pure curruption with Crores of rupees finding sweet comfort in homes of those responsible for the Games.

It is more than National shame...it a case of eating into our money without ANY accountability.

Very true. If you recollect, he was the first person in our country who had questioned the govt's role in preparation for the Games and the misutilization of the funds.

We need people like Modi ji to prevent the corrupt Congress party from ruining the hard-earned Taxpayer's money. Jai Hind!!
