This is totally unwarranted. What were MMS, Sonia, Rahul and the other congress leaders doing all these days? Why did BJP being the main opposition party did not raise this issue at all? Poor governance and poorer delivery by all. Suresh Kalmadi should be stripped of all powers, responsibilities and should be retired out of any position of national responsibility. I don't think the congress is taking this seriously. People will not take this unwanrranted shame heaped on the nation by sheer mis-governance lightly. The results will definitely reflect during the next election.

Kush Chatterjee:
Very right. It was BJP's fault.
I also blame my next door neighbour's cousin twice removed, who did not float a party called as National Disaster Recovery & Pride Movement and did not win 300 seats in the Parliament. If only he had done his job, Kalmadi would have ensured a flawless execution of the games.
Thirdly I would like to point out that in the recent Terry Jones v/s Maulana Rauf debate, APJ Abdul Kalam Saheb did not ensure that he gave a 2 page statement containing exactly 732 words at precisely 7:32 PM on September 9th; which was according to me the root cause of the roof of the stadium caving in.

Dear Chaatterjee Saheb, of course they were doing their job corruption planning during 04 years that how to corrupt huge chunk of money to be deposited by Swiss Bank. CWG gage awarded in 2003. It took 4 years i.e. Government started bidding process in 2007. It means a sizeable time take to plan corruption. Why don't you understand Sir?
We seem to forget that the incessant rains in the last two months have hampered the preparation for the CWG. Still, we should support the CWG organisers so that the Games are successful.

ALMIGHTY IS WEEPING DUE TO PRESENT STATE OF AFFAIRS OF INDIA.WHO WILL CONSOLE ALMIGHTY?
According to me, given below is the list of PMs who have contributed the most in descending order:
1) Atal Behari Vajpayee (rapid economic growth) 2) PV Narasimhan Rao (solved Punjab, Assam Problem, initiated reforms) 3) Manmohan Singh (continued with growth, strong US relations, nuclear deal, Initiated reforms as Finance Minister)
All the above have made significant contribution. Then comes steep fall.
4) Lal Bahadur Shastri (Initiated Green revolution, won Pak war) 5) Rajiv Gandhi (IT revolution but inexperience showed)
The following PMs made no difference:
6) Indrajit Gujral 7) HD Deve Gowda 8) Chandrasekhar 9) Morarji Desai 10) Charan Singh
The following PMs made negative contribution:
11) VP Singh (Mandalization, Kashmir problem, brought the country near bankruptcy) 12) Indira Gandhi (created Bhinderwalan, Emergency, Peak corruption, failed socialism, high inflation, almost zero growth, peak poverty, peak Income tax rates more than 90%, infrastructure neglected) 13) Nehru (partitioned the country to fulfill his prime ministerial ambition that is the root cause of Indo-pak problems, Kashmir problem, Hindu-Muslim problem)

Anyone knows that the best Prime Ministers come from the Nehru-Gandhi family. That's why all Indians are eagerly waiting for Mr Rahul Gandhi to become the PM.

Interestingly those who speak vociferously against the most undemocratic, regressive and destructive practice of the family run politics, and are therefore disgusted by Raoul being promoted as PM, tend to be educated and informed . OTH, apart from handful of hangers-on and sycophants who are in strategically influential areas like media (NDTV, TOI, HT etc), most of those who wax lyrical about the family and Raoul for PM are illiterate or semiliterate masses, ironically left in the sorry state by Nehruvian economic policies. You are one such unashamed sycophant.
