In my opinion, Congress and Sonia Gandhi had given huge target of generation of cash out of this event to the games authorities. It is not possible on Congress that a person amasses huge fortune and pocket the same too. It is very much clear that the prime purpose of accepting to host CGs was to generate case for the party and Sonia family.
Never expect a better show in that case. Unfortunately these people did not give a slightest thought of country's reputation.

why "common wealth"
by patriot on Sep 22, 2010 03:53 PM

Isn't the term "common wealth", degrading and below self dignity? Whose common wealth? why only former British colonies play these games. Didn't we become independent 60 years back. Why are we still toeing the British line? Why is the england's queen's baton passed on . Is she our ruler?

What else you can expect?
by Ravi K on Sep 22, 2010 03:53 PM

What else we can expect when we are lead by an uninspiring leader by Manmohan Singh, who cannot control a minister or even a secretary. He had a meeting couple of months back, but, couldn't take any action. When we have such a strong Pvt sector, it is shame that we cannot use their effifiency.
