Economic development? Growth rate? WHat does all of this mean when 40% of the country can not afford 2 square meals?
Now the rest of the world is seeing the ugliest ever face of India ever. All this is a manifestation of the general sickness that has crept into every sphere of our society, almost like a cancer.
they have plundered taxpayers money and fcked the ecology and still could not have decent appartments for atheletes no wonder we dont earn any medals in international events
Foreigners need to stop complaining and start learning how our system works. Dont Indians do the same when we go abroad? Dont we learn their culture and adapt accordingly? Do we complain and crib like these foreigners?
How many Indians will feel shocked when they see the labourers attending the nature's call in construction sites? How many Indians feel odd when they see a cow drop its hot puddings on the street? Or how many of us feel irritated by the smoke fog in the afternoon from the smoke pipes in the vehicles? Or how many Indians will cringe when they see the colorful red spray of a Banarsi Paan on the walls of the compound or if luck be there on their own face from the passing bus passenger? None right?
Then why are these foreigners crying hoarse?Either the foreigners learn to behave properly and adapt to the surroundings OR they are free to leave the country.

They are not coming here as tourists or visitors. When India accepted the responsibilty of conducting the CWG 2010, its bound to build and provide international standard infra and other amenities to the participants coming to attend the games. After such a shabby work and draiing the money by games federation into the black holes of kalmadi and dixit, they can not simply wash off their hands.
All the international sporting bodies should notice this and stop awarding any future games to India.

Even the cricket stadiums in India are below average compared to international stadiums (this list doesnt include Pakistan, Bangladesh or Srilanka!!) inspite of being the richest cricket board. Indian psyche is never tuned for class but only mass!!

In other words, we should NOT host the games; nor should we go abroad to participate in any.... coz we will be disturbed when: a) we go out and are not allowed (according to our culture) to litter the streets, blow smoke fog from vehicles, spray paan, or attend to natures's call in the middle of the road.... hence we should stay home
b) we arrange for excellent hospitality by providing all of the above entertainment and find our guests least impressed...
Which hotel in the Taj group are you the General Manager of? That hotel must be doing phenomenal business with a mile long queue of foreigners, willing to wait for 3 months on the street to just get half a day in your hotel which provides all of the above "nice" Indian cultural stuff.... eh? :)

This govt, having sold out to suresh kalmadi & shiela dixit, has built filthy swimming pools, horrible stadia, below standards infrastructure etc etec. U will tragic scenes like stadium roof or steps collapsing, tracks giving away, sportspersons getting sick bcos of unhigene conditions, horrible food etc bcos everywhere they have made money and compromised on quality.
Let MMS use his turban to remove that filth. I mean it. Indian politicians, business men and Indians in general spread filth wherever they live, wherever they go. Ridiculous# &#!@# From 2003 to 2010, they have been shitting all the time and even MMS found time to visit the stadiums last week only. Bastar*ds, what else should I call these id*iots who only know spreading filth.
If they had constructed good stadiums in 1982 during Delhi Asiad keeping CWG and even Olympics in mind, there was no need to spend even a single rupee now for stadiums. But Indians who know spreading filth only will never learn that basic things but will talk of progress even when millions of pregnant women, infants and men are dying in utter poverty. That is the standard.
Its high time we realise that "Criticizing" the government wont help. Come on guys.... i guess whtever best could have been done is in front of us. Nobody knew that it is goona rain like this !!!! Lets stop this and concentrate on the games.
