BTW Paes has won quite a few, grand slam in doubles and mixed doubles and great matches against Samparas,Aggasi and Davis cup...
Sachin has only personal records wheras his perforamce is should not be judged by his personal records but how many WC or finals he has made India win on his own performance ...It is sadly poor on that count.....Paes come out as far better on those counts

I am Sachin fan but he is not been a match winner like Sehwag who may not have a great record like Sachin..but his 30-40 runs scored at high strike rate are more important which win us matches than Sachins century.......... Do not carry hard feelings.... behave like a sportsman ..

True, cricket is played in few countries by few hundreds whereas tennis is played all around the globe by few thousands. Even 200th rank in tennis is bigger than the 1st rank in cricket. Cricket is a british decease, a gift given to their slaves, any body can play without needing good physical fitness. Tennis demands a lot of energy, focus, determination, strength, power and much more.

Leander Paes bring so many glorious moment for India. What Sachin brings for India. A selfish player, neither he won world cup, nor he shown his dependency in any vital match where India need him badly. Cricket is played by only 12 country whereas Tennis is played by almost all contry. If Sachin and Paes both landed together any place out of India, people will recognise Paes, not Sachin.Leander had won 11 Grand slam title, hope u are aware about what Grand Slam is.Sachin as a Individual no doubt a great player but his achievement for country is a BIG ZERO.

lol. Paes is a champion who has achieved when the odds were against him. Sachin had all on a platter and wilts under pressure. Not a champion yet.

Sachin, after 20 years in International Cricket does not have the "Highest Runs in a Test Innings" as well as the "Highest runs in a First Class Match". For get the World Cup or any other big championshship. What does it reflect? Leander Paes has been the Flag bearer of Indian Tennis for 2 Decades. That itself speaks volumes of his capabilities, whether we accept or not.
they have won numerous grand slam (doubles mxed).both have brought glory to india with thier tennis.
sachin is god no need to mention.india dint won WC while he played for india doesnt shorten his greatness an inch..he infact won as in 2003.he is the leading run getter in WC.
I consider him better than Tendulkar as Tennis is my fav sports.Though both have achieved in different fields but Paes has not earned as Tendulkar, he is not greedy aslo. He is always play for the country. I salute him on his achivement.

Paes's game is not a team game u m0r0n... Sachin avgs 57 in finals, but he cant win it by himself. Just like Ponting doesn't win it by himself.

Definitely Leander is a great tennis player achieved a lot for Indian tennis including an olympic bronze medal.But his quarrel with Mahesh Bhupathy was a black mark in his career.He secured grand slams in doubles and got some great victories in Davis Cup.But in individual game he was no way near to world class players.Tennis is a game that require more fitness and completing 20 years at international circuit is not a small achievement.
