its waste to but an EPL team which sits bottom of the table.even Liverpool owners are struggling to maintain the club these lower team just playing for pride so its really waste for smaller company like venkys to invest huge money for an club.
I think with Indian companies acquiring english clubs, they should now push to have Indians in the team. We need to improve our FIFA ranking, and if a few can get exposure playing in club football, it will certainly help. Atleast they can be selected in the reserves, and maybe played against weaker oppostion. Once they have control over a club, i think it shouldnt be tough to lure some Indian players

Yes, like vijay mallaya is doing by recruting Indian drivers for his F1 team. hahahahahaha good joke...... they dont buy cuz of some social cause....It most probably would be a business Idea, we would know in the coming days.

Even if 1 or 2 players get opportunities to play in Reserves, that will not improve football in India. The I-League should be made interesting. Maybe there should be one league for clubs and one for institutional teams. There are no spectators in matches.

indians will be able to play in barclays league only if they are ranked 70 or more ..below 70 nations soccer players wont be issued workpermits to play........need to wait for atleast 5 years more....
