Hope this performance from indian hoceky team is a real indicator of their career graph. I believe it has taken a 'U' turn and going upwards now and it continues to be like that in the years ahead With the old federation (IHF) back in its helm, am i hoping against hope?

I am not sure about federations but India team doesn't play well against Australia or European teams.

Hi, buddy, hope all fine...yeah, what u said is right. Ag Aussies and European team, we are still hard pressed. They are too good, physically strong and superior tactical skills as well

The administration and the management matters sportslover. That is infact the bane of indian sports. The Indian hockey federation under the rule of KPS gill was horrible. Then came hockey india, which wasn't good either. The Sports authority of India is headed by none other than kalmadi. In every sports association in india, there is an over dose of politicians
I dont understand why the Indian hockey team is so scared of the Aussie Hockey team. They are shell shocked from the start and the ball does not even cross the Indian half. While playing with others such as todays match with Pakistan they play much better. In fact Pakistan always puts a much better show against Australia. I wonder why...

Problem with Asian teams is they don't play tight hockey and don't mark players. They like to play open hockey.
I am sure Australians can be beaten by India but the every time in first 5-10 minutes they are down by 2-3 goals and are are not able to come back.

Physically they are superior, they attack the first few minutes very fast and rack up goals before the other team settles down.

Yes it is wonderful to see how India did beat the Paks and now surely they know they have to beat the Aussies too.

I would have preferred India vs Aussie match but there Somdev winning it easily while India vs Pak certainly a Exciting match to watch so the first one prevails due to the excitement

Reason I posted this is because few here were complaining that DD didn't show Tennis match live and instead showed Hockey Match Live.

But when i came back from outside, tennis was being played in dd sports. The match was almost in its finishing stages
