CWG & Media
by Black Kobra on Oct 03, 2010 06:20 PM  | Hide replies

Initially media criticised all the things in the CWG, like a new police officer in his area first put all the criminal behind bars and give the massage to the criminal that he will not tolrate any crime in his area. But this excercise prooved that this is only for raising the bribe rates high. Same the media did here. Now cogress has given them their share so they r praising CWG. Suddely "all is well"

Money spent properly ....i guess
by Michael DSa on Oct 03, 2010 06:15 PM  | Hide replies

As others are commenting that money should have been spent on education and poor rather then CWG. The problem the government faces is that, even if they think to spend money on poor and education, half of this money is robbed by the state government and its middleman. So whats the big deal man !! Let the country spend it on these events. Face the reality boss. Don't ask what the country is giving you....ask your self....what can you give for the country. Our mentality must change first.

Jeevan, if any of the allegations of Subramanya swamy is not true, then congress can go to the court and take action against him. So, just understand the reason why congress choose to keep mum now. Congress is on a plunder spree, and hence would ignore all the allegations

Subramanya swamy is a lawyer and if he has put some information in the website, then there is sufficient evidence. If those were not ture, then congress could have gone to the court. But it is evident that congress want to ignore this, since Subramanya swamy always talks with facts and evidences.

MUST READ FOR ALL THOSE WHO LIKE INDIA
by SpeakOnlyTruth on Oct 03, 2010 06:09 PM  | Hide replies

STATEMENT OF DR.SUBRAMANIAN SWAMY, PRESIDENT OF JANATA PARTYMADE IN CHENNAI ON 11.08.2010
1. While abroad recently I was informed by my reliable sources that of the Rs.40000 crores spent to date on Commonwealth Games preparations, about Rs.15000 crores have gone as bribes under cover of payments to consultants and contractors. The recipient of the largest share of the bribe delivered in London is Rahul Gandhi, a Congress MP and son of Sonia Gandhi. In London Mr.Gandhi is known under an alias as Raul Vinci. The Indian High Commission employee in London who has denied his letter of recommendation now, acts as a valet for Mr.Gandhi whenever he visits London, which is at least once a month. Mr.Gandhi is accompanied by his undeclared wife, Colombian girl Veronique.

2. The plan of UPA to protect Mr.Gandhi from expose and prosecution in this CWG scam is to blame it all on Suresh Kalmadi and Shiela Dikshit. The Prime Minister must show boldness now because corruption at the public person level has attained Himalayan heights bringing disgrace to the nation and the economy performing below our potential.

If this news WAS incorrect, congress could have gone to the court. This proves that all the information that Subramanya Swamy has mentioned is truth.

As a responsible Indian, please spread this news in the interest of the nation

Forget all aprehensions and enjoy the show..if you are going to cribb and fume, nothing is going to change, even if CWG was not held also nothing would have changed in ground realities...

Successful holding of mega event is a soft power and successful performance of our youth in the event is the exhibition of the strength of our youth(hard power)..these things matter in today's world..

Crores are siphoned out of the country day after day, atleast in the name of CWG some sports facilities for other games have come up in a cricket crazy nation...

The sportspersons of the participating countries will go back with good memories of India and that enhances our soft power..atleast we are able to create a global village in Delhi for this event..that too successfully...

A good game will increase the goodwill, there is lot of potential in emerging India and therefore we can look forward to increasing inflow of foreign tourist which will boost our tourism industry and increasing inflow of foreign direct investment which will strengthen our economy..

So,let us enjoy the show with an open heart and open mind..

Opinon
by Chenthil Natarajan on Oct 03, 2010 06:05 PM  | Hide replies

Despite a negative opinion out there, intiatives like Chandrayan and CWG will definitly put India into next level. It'll give different perspective and vision about India for other countries and for indians themselves who think their country is poorly sub standard. And yes, there are some important areas we are lacking in like eradicating poverty, better infrastructure but, think - if the Crores were didn't spent this way, it might have been looted out in name of other silly development activities or in waving off the unpaid loans. So Indians Cheer up.

If he was in China,Swamy would have been shot dead for being Anti-National.

Beijing Olympic costed USD 50 billion and nobody in the country would have a complaint about it.We Indians are truly anti-national loud mouths..
We donot need external enemy when we have no unity among us to display to the world just before begining of a mega sports event..

If Subramanya swamy's message was incorrect, congress could have gone to the court against that. Since we do not see any action in this from congress, the information mentioned by Subramanya swamy are facts accompanied with evidences. Subramanya swamy is a lawyer and does not say something without evidence

Some people in this forum support Congress instead of trying to understand the facts. I request you all to first think about what has been written by subramanya swamy and understand the same and then pass comments. Please remember - Subramanya swamy is a lawyer and does not utter something like the congress minister do. All his words are accompanied by facts.
