Cricketers are useless then You are not sport lovers.....Its depends upon time.Cricket becomes the relegion When India brought 1983 world cup and shame on you criticising cricketers.Advertiser is also not bringing up the money becoz of corruption involved in Atheletic more than cricket.Recent Corruption in Common wealth Games is the biggest examples.Ultimately a Player has to suffer somebody's sin.Sachin,Dravid,Ganguly are Pride of the country. But Sad to say People still like you Critising and preaching Lessons of Criticisim.....

by satish chandar on Nov 19, 2010 11:38 AM

Simple useless guys who dont have any credentials will all come now and start to bash a great girl who have bought fame n name to the country.. Simply sitting before a computer(Just becuase of the US guys who are lazy) and doign a crap work, u guys think u r eligible of commenting bad about the sportsmen who though earn money, have to live with the whole world watching them and evaluating them for every performance and striving hard for satisfying the guys who expect big things from them..

If u guys were thqat much concerned on the pride of the nation in the International events, why dont u try?? Can u swaer that u ll make ur kid a boxer or a archer and dont force him to money making job?? If u do it and ur kid fails one time, u ll stop posting craps against the sportsmen...

Wake -up call to Saina
by Srinivasan Krishna on Nov 19, 2010 11:10 AM  | Hide replies

Alarm bells!!!!
Stop the media and endorsement frenzy on Saina...
let her concentrate on the game rather than her house, cars and moolah...
they will come automatically so long as she performs...
she has a good 4 years left to be the Top Badminton athlete of the world.
only dedication and practise will help... and her coach Gopichand of course...
All the picture -op politico's and moneybag corporates..... have some decency and crae for the nation's best bet yet....

I did see the last set when saina was trailing 8-10 till the end. what was apparent was the gamemanship of the Hong Kong girl and the way she was irritating saina when she was just about to serv. make Saina wait did the trick for the HK girl. I did not think Saina was playing badly, but she sure looked a bit jaded.
that is why she should keep away from the politico's and the moneybag types, if she does want to reach the top.
she surely can do it, provided financial success does not go to her head. then, there will be no motivation to put oneself through the grind day in day out to be on top. just look at Roger Federer and i would say his limited endorsement spree.what a champion and what consistency! the magic mantra for roger seems keeping grounded all the time! May be Saina can learn from that champion and at home the other champion Sachin Tendulkar. one can only pray and hope she does not go the Sania way....

Bunch of losers
by shubasrikrishna on Nov 19, 2010 08:48 AM  | Hide replies

Iam ashamed that we are a country of losers. I think it is in our blood to lose. Counties like Iran who have faced so much sanctions and have a tough life are much ahead.
It is probably in the genes that we are both physically and mentally weak.
All the hype of these so many " world champions" all biting the dust.
Sports always represents the progress of a nation. It is proving clearly for the fact that China is beating the US in sports and also in prosperity.
We all know only to talk and produce children....

BTW have you done anything better than producing children and criticising. China have 100 gold medal winner and hence if few of them fail it doesn't hurt them. but our bis names as always expected to come first. do you realize how much extra pressure they might be handling. easy to sit and talk lady (not sure if you are lady)

I agree with Shuba. We rely so heavy on individuals whereas China can afford to have some of their athletes fail and still end up dominating these games time and time again. It reflects poorly on our strength as a sports nation and on the whole as a nation.

Stop critisising everyone ailed because of money.. If u r so much concerned about the pride and dont care about money, come on.. Practice for 4 yrs continuously and become a Olympic champion..

If u cant, then train ur kids from their childhood and make them win in all the international events without looking for money.. U guys can never know the efforts put by sportsmen and when they lose, simply come out with ur bloody mouth and foul language..
